Their most recent allowance was 3.5m (that’s for NuPrC) last i checked, NMDPRA staff are yet to receive that particular allowance which btw is the government palliative (in case u didn’t know) i do have very credible information, but hey! According to what I was told, the DS invited are meant to be replacements. About 150.

However, I have not confirmed this until tomorrow.

Okay, did i mention their package? I said nothing about their package. 2. She went in with msc and she’s been workin there for years now. 3. I only said he should go for NiA because of the current petroleum uncertainty. I can drop figures and stats for you right now but ask your brother to tell you, the petroleum industry is struggling right now! So i said go for NIA. Maybe u guys should read through my replies one more time so you can comprehend.
NIA has a lot of benefits and definitely the most secretive in terms of allowances. You know their spouses get monthly upkeep when they’re posted abroad and those who don’t go get a huge bonus to compensate because their foreign posted counterparts get paid in USD.

There is always going to be conflicting answers from different parties. I am not here to argue and apologies to anyone who found my posts hurtful. I only joined this platform to get info on NDIC for my brother and thanks to the Almighty he is now an NdIC staff. I do wish everyone here good fortune.

My only advise be say u shld stop taking beer or highness or inhaling people's smokes, u re equally smoking indirectly, just so dat u won't fail medical afterwards cos dem go like find one way or the other chng people... So this EFCC thing, The info I just gathered is that they might recruit just 150 persons for BSC. So it’s possible that it might not be an open recruitment like last year. Even if it’s an open recruitment where you can submit your cv, chances of getting in is if you are super super connected.

Dijee Oil and Gas Companies/Agencies are in a class of their own. Compare their budgets with other organizations you’ll see. Also total employee compensation is beyond what you see on the payslip.

There is no need for this. You made your point. Allow him make his without resorting to insults. We disagree to agree. Both places are very wonderful. But if you ask for my opinion, na still NUPRC. E get why.
I know exactly how much NIA pays monthly to staff on foreign mission and I know what is accrueable to their spouses. They do a lot but.......no follow NUPRC total emoluments by what you see on payslips please. There is more to that.

Corollary: You are very correct about the delay in payment of some allowances at NUPRC but this is as a result of alleged misappropriation of funds by the Management not the inability of the Commission to generate funds.
When corruption becomes endemic and statutory allowances are not paid as at when due at NUPRC, meanwhile the opposite is the case at NIA who is always trying to outdo itself in terms of staff welfare. It will seem as if NIA has an overall better welfare package but it is not exactly true.
In terms of general staff welfare including medical services, work environment, international exposure and fitness activities, NIA leads but in terms of bogus lump sum allowances (minus the current management issues), NUPRC takes the lead.
So you are right Deji, nasiest is also right.
