In my opinion, i think there is a chance Tinubu can argue his case. I am not saying he did not forge his diploma, but because his forgery in this situation does not change the fact that he attended and graduated from CSU, one could argue for a lesser penalty other than disqualification. Unless there is a written rule which explicitly states that forgery of any document submitted is grounds for disqualification. In which case, Tinubu must vacate his presidency!

I just feel CSU is trying to cove up tinibu due to the largesse they have been receiving from him how can anyone legitimately graduate from a university after all the hard work and later decide to throw all that away by going to forge the certificate that was issued to him instead of applying for a replacement? It doesn't make any sense to me.

This is the kind of stuff I hate to see online. You clearly didn't read the entire deposition because Nigerian don't read. This was one of the first questions the CSU rep was asked. That does their institution receive any donations from Tinubu or have they met him or any of his lawyers before to which they said No. Except when Tinubu requested his certificate. If you read it well, it is likely that Tinubu has requested a certificate from CSU and also had one that he got from the third party vendor which are very similar but not identical. That is the one he submitted to INEC. If you ask me, so long as he can prove he graduated from CSU and no evidence of identity theft then there is no case here. But you lots can continue laboring in vain. Na una sabi.

Dude, my transcripts are just ordinary paper printed by the university staff then stamped. Yes, in the absence of your diploma within conditions, you are allowed to use the transcript as proof you do have said diploma, that is why the university is always quick to deliver transcripts while you are waiting for your diploma. But you should know that it is perfectly reasonable for your transcript to be refused (that happened to me) and for the recruiter to insist that you must present your degree.
The only thing official about a transcript is the stamp on it.
Maybe in Nigeria. But in America what makes a transcript authentic is that it comes DIRECTLY from the school i.e they must be the one to mail it directly to the requesting individual. Even if the school prints it and stamps and you mail it yourself, then it can be agreed to be official except it's in a SEALED and UNOPENED envelope.

1. What is the transitive closure of the empty set ?

3. Without infinity axiom, is the transitive closure of belonging a setlike relation ?

Wrong again, the purpose of a diploma is to give you an academic status. Attendance is not what dipolmas attest for, they attest fir the fact you past the exams in a satisfactory manner.
I have seen people attend a university but fail the exam, and I have seen people who showed up only during exams and passed the exams with success.
The group which failed the exams didn't get the degree, the one which didn't attend classes but past the exams well got the diploma.

You guys again didn't read the deposition or look well at the transcript because it shows clearly there that he not only ATTENEDED the school but also GRADUATED WITH B.S in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting.

CSU claimed third party vendors can help create a replacement certificate, so if BAT actually got it through that means, hows that a case of forgery?

They really need a translator that can translate that particular text into Igbo language before they can understand.

Only Tinubu can answer that. But thank God he had an original he could have gone to pick up.
This is why I said this is not a conventional kind of "forgery". Why would a man forge a certificate when he has an original waiting for him?
In Tinubu's case, I find it difficult to use the word "forgery".
For there to be forgery there must be an attempt to defraud. How can you attempt to defraud when you genuinely obtained the degree. Don't they teach logic in schools?

It says Forged documents! I believe in this context, the nature of the forgery seems irrelevant but i think it could still be argued in court!
Here is an excerpt from an article i found online claiming to be some basis for disqualification
- Forgery: If the candidate has presented a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
A recent use of this provision was when it was used to disqualify the deputy governor-elect of Bayelsa State in 2020.

I studied in a developed country (France) with the same exact system as in America.
A transcript is just a stamped paper with your results. You can download them nowadays from the university website. Back in the days, you needed to go to the secretary of the university and spend a whole 5 minutes pending the printing and stamping of the transcript.

That is your unofficial transcript. Stop lying. No school allows you to download official transcripts as PDFs except it is an encrypted PDF that will be authenticated by an online server and made official with Internet connection. I have done official transcript multiple times and I also have the downloaded unofficial transcripts in my possession.

You are making a huge leap! I don't think intent to defraud is a necessary condition for forgery! It is debatable at best! This is why my opinion is that Tinubu might have a chance to beat the case in court. But from what i gathered from further research, the Nigerian constitution states forgery as grounds for disqualifying a candidate. There was a precedence for the governor-elect of Bayelsa in 2020! So why would it be any different in this scenario?

Maybe you should try and use that transcript you have (if its not encrypted) to gain admission in another school abroad and see if they won't still request you to send them the official one.

Okay ooo. Carry it to court. Shebi you guys are kuku used to losing in court. If he didn't graduate from CSU you would have a case. But since he graduated from there I think it's a waste of time. But it's a free world and Atiku is free to try.

Part of Farooq Kperogi's analysis is deeply, deeply flawed.

I would prefer to stay silent on the gender of the applicant listed on the South West College (now Daley College) application form - at least until more information becomes available. But while some parts of Kperogi's analysis of this whole matter are spot on, some are not. He claims he believes that the individual on the SWC form and the individual who graduated from CSU are one and the same - simply because there is consistency in school performance. Is that a foolproof method of assessment for one's gender?

They thought your transcript was a fraud. There is no such thing as "official transcript" it is all the same. But it is a document which can easily be faked. And as you said, you had your university send them the transcript. Your problem is more about the people you submitted your transcript not trusting you.
You haven't said in what circumstances you were submitting your transcript. It seems you don't have a diploma.

You are wrong! Learn and stop making outrageous claims! There is a such thing as "Official Transcript". Just because your knowledge on a subject matter is limited does not make something wrong!

All you need to do is go on any American college website and check for requirements for admission into graduate programs. Common man, what is wrong with you?

Nope, stamped university results are only official to people like you. To actual educated people like me, they are mere information papers which are very susceptible to be forged. You are yet to say the circumstances in which you were giving a transcript.
Were you applying for a job or for an other school ?
Where was your diploma ? Did you even have a diploma ?
You are remaining vague.
