The kind of news that our listed MILOST dey take fly. Soon stories go dey fly of deals and partnerships. May God help us.. angry

I have said it before.
Solid mineral sector is the next sector of attraction.investing in stocks in that sector is not a bad idea now.
For Japaul, some of us here never see it as a good stock but the liquidity and trade setup is okay for me as a trader.I will be expecting Japaul on full bids in few days to come because of Q3 result which I believe is going to outperform.

This is not same thing as published.

It's 12 NASCON = 11 SUGAR(FOOD)

Maybe I am mistaken

What do you guys think about this?

They've had a solid performance since inception, and provides needed diversification.

I'm concerned about loan losses.

The bull took off with full strength at N10.35 (Took off with a full gain of 90kobo from the previous close of N9.45)

The the bull took a break to eat and drink (reload cash grin as there were too many bears). Bears lurking around quickly stepped in and started knocking the price down in the absence of the bull. Knocked it down in steps to Km9.45 before the bull resurfaced again and started mopping but with less strength. Maybe the bull drank too much water or there were too many bears to chase or it was getting tired. By close of business the bull was able to push the price only up to N9.95. Which means the bull still won todays match but at a big cost.

Since the company has delisted, the shares are no more available for trade. In essence it's no longer a stock. Your value is kept for you as per the terms and agreement and conditions to delist the company.

When they say you have not gained or lost money untill you sell only apply to stocks. Reason we say your current value is paper money until you sell.
Once delisted, it's no more a stock that is trade able.
Let us take Skye Bank as a case study. Some people refused to sell and it ended nationalized. Can it be said that till today, those people have not lost since they didn't sell before the nationalization?

A very likely scenario, but quite unlikely when you trade/invest in fundamental tier 1 companies i.e. MTN, Dangote, the big banks etc.

Distance yourself from those penny/kobo stocks.. DYR.

Some stocks we think are fundamentally sound might be very shaky in reality. Some of us had assumed that banks like Oceanic and the rest were fundamentally sound until the advent of SLS stress test in 2009. You know the rest of the story.

Don't assume that a stock is fundamentally sound, you need to dig deeper.

i remember reading an article about banks in Nigeria that was after ecobank took over oceanic. Three months ago I went to the registra office to collect e dividend form for someone and I was told they didn't pay dividend for some years.
My mind went back to that article years ago about banks not being solid......
