Mamadf: I know someone who had issues with his visa because of that. Perharps an over zealous case worker? Personally, I would prefer to have 6 months validity for my peace of mind... Up to you. 3 Likes |

Mamadf:There is absolutely no such rule. Anything that is not on www.gov.uk is misinformation as that site is updated every second as a guide to the whole nation. If you get denied for this reason ONLY I am happy to assist you in lodging complaints to the highest possible quarters. There are laws by which the UK operate. My worries are about how you came about the money in your account, your chances appear slim with that and you are a housewife saying you are going for a course for 3 weeks: of what benefit is this course? Goodluck |

MsFm: A traveler can use one or more than one airlines to complete his or her journey. The problem here might not be from the airline itself. It might be from those Nigerian airport employees. Those ticketing and the gate agents because most of them are clueless |

Hello house! Permit me to share a rather expensive joke from UKVI for whosoever cares to read. One of my guys did her biometric on 15th September for PRIORITY visitir visa. But after 13 WORKING days the tracking still says "application received by DMC!" However, on Wednesday 4th September, my guy received the first mail from UKVI informing her of the arrival of her application! After 19 days! Haba! What about the tracking that has been saying that the application has been received by them since 18th September? Has VAC just forwarded the application to them or is it a joke? Anyone with similar experience? |

How come about the large sum? Where did you get the money from? That’s what they didn’t see an answer to. |

Hello house, please I need guidance on these questions. “How much money are you planning to spend" ? What figure should I put there? The trip will be fully sponsored by a company and 2 kids will be travelling as well. Should I put the total figure the company will pay for the trip for all applicants as stated on the sponsorship letter? Like, if the total amount for everyone is 10m, should I state the amount on each applicant’s form? Also, the kids are primary school pupils, how much should I put as their monthly expenses since they are students and unemployed? |

Aramide2041:If you are not reapplying so soon or intend to reapply. You can send A letter to them explaining why you deserve the visa if their concerns has been answered in your application. You should send a pre-action protocol (PAP) letter to Home Office UKVI before filing an immigration Judicial Review (JR) in Court and ask the Home Office UKVI to reconsider its refusal decision within 14 days. What Is A Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) A pre-action protocol (PAP) letter is a letter written to the Home Office, UKVI in order to try and resolve a dispute concerning an immigration matter before Judicial Review (JR) proceedings are started against the Home Office UKVI. A Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) letter may also be called a ’letter before claim’ or a ’letter before action’. All of these terms refer to the same thing. Purpose Of Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) The purpose of pre-action protocol (PAP) letter is to identify the issues in dispute and establish whether litigation with the Home Office, UKVI can be avoided. The letter contains the date and details of the immigration decision (the refusal letter), act or omission of the Home Office UKVI being challenged and a clear summary of the facts on which the Judicial Review claim against the Home Office, UKVI is based. It also contains the details of any relevant information that the applicant is seeking from the Home Office, UKVI and an explanation of why this is considered relevant. Response To Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) Immigration Judicial Review (JR) proceedings against the UKVI are not normally issued until the proposed reply date given in the letter before claim has passed, unless the circumstances of the immigration case require more immediate action to be taken. Home Office UKVI, should normally respond to letter before action (pre-action protocol letter) within 14 days and Home Office UKVI may face cost implications for failure to respond to pre-action protocol (PAP) letter unless there are good reasons for not responding within that period. An application for permission to apply for Judicial Review can be filed in the Upper Tribunal or Administrative Court (High Court), as the case may be, if the Home Office, UKVI do not respond to the pre-action protocol letter within 14 days or the Home Office UKVI responds within 14 days but maintains their decision to refuse the immigration application. The protocol does not affect the time limit specified by CPR Part 54.5(1) namely that an application for permission to apply for Judicial Review (JR) must be made promptly and in any event not later than 3 months after the grounds upon which the claim is based first arose. Mail to send the letter to: UKVIPAP@homeoffice.gov.uk 3 Likes |

giselle237: You are correct, and I don't think anyone will be refused a UK visa simply because their passport doesn't have a 6-month validity period. However, UK visitors must make sure that their passports are valid for the entire intended stay in order to avoid issues at the point of entry. |

Maybe there’s a backlog… I did my biometric since 15th of September and I haven’t gotten feedback yet. And yes, it was a priority visa application. Fingers crossed as we wait for the people in Croydon o. Btw, I know people that did within the same timeframe and they’ve gotten feedback dende3: |
