Exactly. This is how I funded my BA, but I couldn't get a prompt appointment. I wish to know if Nigerians are being rejected in Ghana

Servus!

I understand that it is very challenging for a lot of folks this period. Keep pushing there is light at the end of the tunnel.
1. For those who need low FX rate fund their blocked account can reach me.
2. For those who need Verpflichtungserklärung ( Sponsorship Letter) can also reach me.

NB: For those who got admission and can’t get appointments cos of the Category A and B stuff, please start considering applying via Benin 🇧🇯 or Togo. It’s much faster there.

Good luck everyone.

I have a Togo permit which will expire 28th of this month but I couldn't get an appointment date in their country.

Please is it true that Ghana has started rejecting Nigerians going for appointment there with a Ghana, Liberia or Sierra Lone Residency permit? Can someone confirm this?

Good day, house. I wanted to study for my masters in Germany a few years back but later dropped the idea due to their unwillingness then to give interview date for Nigerians, please
1) are they giving interview dates now
2) Would it be of help if I already have B2 certificate even though my intended program would be taught in English
(3)What's the summary of the entire process from application to visa now. Thanks and remain blessed.

Getting an interview date now takes 18 months. Except you graduated with 1st class within the last three years or thereabout. Or you are able to secure a scholarship for your program.

Having a B2 is good but it doesn't guarantee you getting an early date if the two conditions I stated up there doesn't apply to you.

Please how many times can admission be deferred in Germany given this long awaiting period for AD.

I got admitted to university of kiel winter semester 2023 and I'm planning on deferring my admission to the next winter Semester but they said they can defer it to summer Semester 2024 for now.

They don't offer online classes.

Has anyone especially from university of kiel defer their admission twice?

Thank you

As many times as the school lets you.

1) Unfortunately, it's even worse now. The wait time is now almost 2 years for an appointment date (for Category B applicants that is)

2) No, it would have helped some years ago, but doesn't matter if you're up to C2 now sef.

3) It is recommended you apply for your appointment date before looking into schools to apply for admission.

If you can get a scholarship, are going for a PhD or research or if you graduated with a first class and your degree was issued after 2020, you can get boosted to Category A and get a date within 3 months.

If you cannot get a scholarship or sponsorship letter, you have 2 years to start saving up the €11,208 needed for your blocked account.

Concerning the visa, before it was almost like a rule that if you waited up to a month to hear back from the embassy after your interview, then your visa approval was certain. But, this isn't the came anymore as there are people that wait up to 1 month and still get rejected. People that get approved have been known to now wait for 13 weeks (could be less)

I hope this helps, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Germany's pathway to naturalization is even easier than the UK. If you graduate from a German Uni, you will become a permanent resident in less than 2 years of full-time work there. Regarding the languages, they are learnable! There is even a German language school in Lagos Goethe Institut. Her kids will even learn the language faster than her because their brain is still developing. Regarding racism, it exists everywhere and the UK is not exempted. The ease of getting a UK visa has made Nigerians not notice other European countries with better economies and a better standard of living.

LandMann:

In one year time you'll have at least a second class upper of 4. and above CGPA, or a first class if you're truly determined to escape entrenched poverty and unemployment in Nigeria... You'll be at at least A2 level in German language...

With above results, you'll get opportunity to apply for scholarships and win the scholarship if you so like Nigeria and want to stay in Nigeria to continue studying and you'll also get the opportunity to apply for and win scholarship to go study in Germany, which will throw a million open doors for you and your future generations...

We have a nigga who can hear what Olaf Scholz says. We had another nigga who studied German in his undergraduate, but both cannot get a visa interview. Visa interview o, not the visa itself. But hey, Ndi Study in Germany would say otherwise.

I would always be here to remind y'all. Goodluck to everyone involved. grin

But we have warned people on this forum about Germany's new visa restrictions since 2021. What were they thinking? With Sweden being Europe's Colombia, British Home Secretary Suella Braverman and Olaf Scholz saying multiculturalism has failed, expect the mother of all immigration tightening. German should not be learnt by an Anglophone African. It is effectively useless. The countries where it spoken have tough immigration rules: Austria has a convoluted student visa application process, and the mother of all, Switzerland. Even native Europeans fret when the country is mentioned for work purposes.

Sha, I know what I am best at. grin grin

To be honest, Germany immigration seems harder for Nigerians due to our bad reputation in that country, I remember their government warning that Nigerians would face tougher immigration hurdles before all these their shakara started.
