ojesymsym:Do a google search and you would get your response sir. But those who seem to know much better, recommends not allowing battery fully drain, or fully charged, extends battery life. Also Lithium battery chemistry, differes from that of non-Lithium battery system |

DadojoReloaded: I don't get it, 500watts,. Look your budget will get you 2 good tubular batteries. You are not going use 500 watts continuously. I am even happy you have deep freezer instead of a fridge. Now the main question is how are you going to charge the batteries through solar, or is nepa constant in your area. |

I have been away from this thread for only two days and a lot has gone down. My problem with most Nigerian vendors is that they treat customers the same way bus conductors treat passengers. They only value one when you're outside their buses, once you enter and money changes hands, they treat you like trash. When I have the time, I will share my experience dealing with vendors on this thread. 6 Likes |

Subsistence disputes are so amusing The problem with zero standard platforms like Nairaland is that logic is the first casualty, and common sense is not welcome |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Chichilas: 6:16am On Oct 07, 2023 |
4llerbuntu: I get your point. It is the lack of standards in a society that would make people like Zeestone99 remain in business. You take an order, you contact a store in alaba and ask them to send the order to wherever. If there is a problem along the line, it is your responsibility because you were supposed to verify the quality and quantity of the items purchased. The buyer doesn’t know the alaba seller. It is you he knows. This arrogant Zeestone says he is doing his customer a favor. Customer you have not done anything for free for. I have sent 2 different inverters to Manuel solar when they had issues after 2 years of installation because I bought it from him. They were both repaired and returned back to Benin. I only paid dispatch fees. Manuel did not come and tell me that he is doing me a favor. Zeestone repaired an inverter he sold to me that went bad after 4 months and he said “Una nor Dey know say dem Dey help una” Uneducated tramp. 6 Likes |

yemi2plus: Bro you need to share. The reason why sellers in the developed world always try to do right by their customers is because a white person would not shy away from a review. They do not care who or what company. They would let the world know their experiences. This helps sellers sit up and act right and this helps buyers choose whom they would deal with. Thousands of people are viewing this thread and those who choose to continue to deal with him will do it with caution so they don’t get duped by Zeestone. That is my aim.. In nigeria, everyone wants to cover up and act like they don’t want to ruin someone’s business forgetting that if the person cared about his business, he would be mindful of the decisions he makes/made in the first place. 5 Likes |

Hello everyone... is a 40amps Ac charging current too much for 48v 200ah (four 200ahs battery connected in series).. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Jefferyzz(m): 3:18pm On Oct 07, 2023 |
Check ur battery for the c rating. 40a is just 0.2c for 200a n would b ok for most battery. Other might b lower than this eg 0.15 n 0.1 kristien4: 1 Like |

Jefferyzz:its written @c20 rating. Then recommended maximum charging is 10% of battery capacity. I was thinking since its four battery connected in series 40amps should be okay... but i noticed a low bubbling sound while charging the 4 batteries(tubular)at 40amps current. Is it normal? |

U could av snapped the inscription. Nonetheless. Reduce ur Ac charger to 20a as it's connected in series. Each battery will b charged at 20a. If all 4 are connected in parallel u wouldn't need to reduce the amp. Ur ac ac charger is a 48v 40a variant and not 12v 40a. kristien4: 1 Like |

kristien4: Current is NEVER TOO MUCH because the applicance draws what it needs. It's Voltage that CAN BE TOO MUCH because it flows into the connected device. in other words, if a phone's charger is rated 5-volts 2A , you would have no issue connecting it to a charger rated 5-volts 400A. BUT no make mistake connect am to charger of much higher Voltage. 1 Like |
