Today is exactly 5 months since I captured at Festac (DIY)

I haven't been there yet to check if my passport is ready because the kind of heartbreaking news I hear about Festac (DIY) is alarming.

Has any DIY that captured in May at Festac collected his or her passport yet?

Online tracking Kwa? That thing has not marked passport issue since how many months, and it is still lke that after collecting my passport. I just used my discretion, I gave them enough time, 4 whole months.

Yes bro, I was able to collect and I collected for my brother too, we both captured in April, the officer just told me to call him or show proof that we have the same surname
If you want to collect on a day that is not your day just go very early like 8am, even people with surname that is not meant for today collected, and don't mind those officers at the gate, they may want to send you back, once you are able to get inside just submit your collection slip to the officer at the collection lounge, you will get it. I wish you the best!!

Only thing I noticed was that some of the officers Dey always para when they realize you’re DIY .. anyways that’s none of my concern lol .. but pls I wanna confirm something here pls cus I got another information from the officer I asked . The collection date on the print out I was given stated to pick up 05/10/23 and the officer mentioned 2months. What would someone advise me please .. so to make tracking easy and straightforward for me since I’m DIY..

Yes, They’re cr*zy c***upt in that place sha … saw cases of people who paid as much as from 50-100k for this same exercise not to talk of folks with their families again ..if u dunno someone there like this, just forget it 🤣 na divine help I use capture around 2pm that same day since 8am I got there .. diy sweet sha just hope to be able to collect in a month or max two sef cus it seems they’re producing a lot there .. a lot of people were there for collections and most were getting it

Nigerian passports would be issued within two weeks, according to Interior Minister, Tunji-Ojo.
Let's hope that he's not trying to create an illusion.

Na by power? Shouldn't the useless official who collected money to "runs" things for you tell you if it's ready? Ibadan is now far worse than the Lagos I avoided.

Please can you tell status of June 5th applicants? I'm fed up of this failed country

It was a less stressful exercise compared to the day I captured.

I couldn't make it on Thursday, so I decided to pickup today.

Timeline:

Captured - June 9.

Passport Issued - Sept 16

Picked up - October 7.

The entire process was DIY. Thanks to all who provided the valuable info on this thread.

May we all reach our goals.

I haven't make payment but I intend to choose Alimosho since my wife am filling for works at Egbeda...please will you suggest I choose Alausa over Egbeda?
