Why Bombs Alone Will Not Save "God's People" Israel

What I have observed from Israel's history in the Bible, is, the worst enemies of Israel were not other nations but Israel, themselves.

I observed that if God was with Israel, it would be suicidal for their enemies to even attempt to touch them. (God made Israel to be such a terror to their enemies in those days, that some would even disguise as strangers out of fear to make peace with them.)

But on the other hand, if God was not with Israel, there's not much Israel can do to protect themselves. They could only try but it will be in futility because God is their security.

Most, if not all, of Israel's woes were consequences of them abandoning God and His commandments to follow the ways and gods of the gentiles. (They were the curses Moses said would follow them as a result)

Deuteronomy 28:25 (KJV)

The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

However whenever that happens, the solution to their consequent sufferings, as illustrated on several occasions, was to turn away from their wicked ways and come back to God, as depicted in this Saying from God Himself:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

So that I believe is the lasting solution to Israel's problems not necessarily bombing their enemies, but to ensure that God is on their side.

Once that happens, the battle is already over because there's nothing their enemies could do to prevail against them.

For if God be with Israel, who can be against them?

So that should be the priority of Israel and prayer of all those who support Israel and wish them well.

He was their Peace, but they rejected, persecuted and also killed Him.

Up til this present day, they haven't still learnt and repented of their wrong, and accepted Christ who is supposed to be their Peace, hence they're still persecuting Him by persecuting His followers.

May God have mercy on Israel and make them realize the gravity of their error in rejecting Jesus, the only One that can save them. In Jesus name.
