I'm still surprised as to why this series is getting bad reviews online.

So far so good, this is my best series of 2023! It is nothing short of expectations and lived up to the hype. Gen V is a spinoff series that is set in the world of The Boys (2021), but in an academic environment with new, younger characters introduced. The first three episodes have been phenomenal and the series still carries the same energy from the principal series, The Boys, leaving nothing behind - especially the gore! I love the kind of "we can do anything with this series" energy The Boys universe is giving out, lol... Literally anything you can imagine can happen!

The writers are definitely doing a great job with the series as each new episode gets better than the last, the character development is on point and the story is not rushed. I hope the series keeps this energy or get better as new episodes are released!

Also the actors are well cast, their acting is on point and their characters are natural, not forced as we see in some flicks. This should be getting a 10/10 in my books, but I can find a page in the book, so 9.5/10 will do.

I checked IMDB user reviews and I was shocked.
I had to scroll down so much before I found a single positive review on the show...

I'll probably still wait for it to finish airing or join when I free up my schedule

The continentals is a solid 7/10 for me.

It's a nice spinoff from the "John wick" movie, though more episodes would have been lovely as the series had the capability of exploring more storylines especially since we didn't see anything from London again except in the first episodes but i guess the funds to explore that wasn't available.

Well the episode 3 which is the episode finale was the best, more brutal, more guns, more blood and finally revenge justifiable served.
I am glad that my two favorite didn't die which is the female black lady from the dojo and the female cops, they were my favorites in the series and i am glad they survived.

Do we need a season 2?
Well if you ask me i will say there is no need for a season 2 because everything ended on a good note even the high table will have no choice than to start listening and partnering with Mason so yeah i don't think there is a need for a season 2.

If indeed the high table has to be taken down finally then we need John wick to do justice to that for us.
Perhaps in the next John wick movie, Mr wick and Mason might team up to take down the high table, it will make more sense if the storyline goes that way.
