vicdom: I know little about Kogi's politics but I know one thing, Ebira are determine people, they always give their own 100%, that being said, don't you think Dino will be an hindrance to him, just as Obi was to pdp |

Re: Predictions For Bayelsa, imo And Kogi Guber Polls by vicdom(m): 1:20pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
Kyase:Not at all! zoning cost PDP the presidency. Why Obi lost is that the voting population of the igbos are not much to shift the tides. But here, Igala people have closed to 50% of the state population, which is enough to win them the majority votes. The only problem Muri will have is the spread, because he needs to win25% in 14 LGA. APC would have stood a chance if Ebira and Okuns are teaming up, but as it is today, Okun has two strong candidates. Ebiras will do APC, Okuns will do PDP/ADC while Igala will do SDP. So it's going to be a full tribal politics this time, the first time in the history of te state. An average Igala man doesn't want to hear APC now, same as an average Okun man. If Bello had given ticket to Okun man, then they would have stood a chance of winning. But now, it's going to be tribal politics. |

garfield1:You don't understand! There's a serious bickering between Ebiras and Igalas now. This contest is about political dominance and Igala people are out to make a statement. Imagine Ebira people claiming they are the majority, and that they will rule for 16years before they will consider letting power rotate. How do you think an average Okun or Igala man will feel by that statement? Even when the Ebiras are the third in population? 1 Like |

vicdom: Well, we'll see, but pdp messed up still, giving Dino that ticket was suicide, an igala candidate would have won the election for them |
Re: Predictions For Bayelsa, imo And Kogi Guber Polls by vicdom(m): 1:33pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
Kyase:Lol.... You don't get the gist. I will tell you what happened. Bello wanted an okun man to get the ticket of PDP, because he knew an Igala PDP candidate would pose a serious threat to him. So he bought all the PDP delegates from the Central where he comes from, a they voted for Dino. Ofcourse, Dino came already with delegates from the west plus all the delegates from the Central that voted for him, of course he would win, there's nothing PDP can do about that. But Bello didn't imagine that Muri was going to leave APC and he didn't see that that another stronger opponent would come from another party from Igala. And that person is Muri who orchestrated all the rigging they did in the east for bello second term, together with Onoja, since Bello had throughout his second term campaign in Igala land promised on several occasions that he was going to handover to an Igala man. |

Re: Predictions For Bayelsa, imo And Kogi Guber Polls by vicdom(m): 1:45pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
Kyase:Lol..... Lemme tell you what Bello did to Muri. Before the buildup to the primary election, Bello and APC state chairman had called for a meeting of excos, so they collected the signatures of the excos that attended the meeting, and attached it to a suspension letter drafted by Bello saying that the excos had suspended Muri from the party so that he will not contest the primary. After buying ticket oooo. Lol... you know it would be difficult to win such case in the court, when signatures are there. He knew that Muri would win the primary because it was a direct primary as Igala has the population. So Muri quietly left the party for SDP. |

vicdom: Igalas are larger than okun at least.ebiras will give bloc votes heavily.many still don't know sdp.too many igala candidates.very importantly on the eve of the election and that on that day, bello boys will cause havoc in igalaland thereby preventing most voters from coming.bassa is not fully igala.evebtually igala and ebira votes will cancel out each other.votes gotten from west will give apc victory |

Kyase:Bello wanted a stooge nah, how will he want a strong politician like Muri to succeed him? Bello still wants to remain relevant after his tenure. Of cos, Neither Muri nor Onoja would still be loyal to him while they are governor. So he wanted a puppet to succeed in other to help him cover all his atrocious acts he committed as a governor. |

garfield1:Which Ebira votes will cancel Igala votes?? Just go and look at the just concluded general election. Ebira barely produced around 20% of the votes, while Igala votes were nearing 50%. The votes produced in the Kogi East senatorial district were more than the votes produced in the west and central senatorial district election put together. That should give you an overview how much population the East has. ![]() |

Kyase:They might cover him, but they can never be loyal to him. Omo! Onoja and Muri were so powerful in the scheme of things even before the coming of Bello. Who even knew bello before? If not because of the death of Audu, who would have known Bello in Kogi politics? Those two guys are extremely powerful and are full time politicians, so they can never be loyal to him. And Bello knew that. |
Re: Predictions For Bayelsa, imo And Kogi Guber Polls by Kyase(m): 2:10pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
vicdom: Yeah, knew about Onoja before 2015 elections, bello was unknown and I guess he was at pdp then or so Audu's dead was the opening for bello |

Kyase:Let's see how it will go shaa... But all the odds are against APC. Bello performed woefully, and the person of Ododo who headed the and initiated the famous percentage salary in Kogi state is the party flag bearer. Omo! Kogi people are anxiously waiting for him at the poll. Even if Muri doesn't win at the first ballot, he will still win at the second ballot. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Predictions For Bayelsa, imo And Kogi Guber Polls by garfield1: 2:29pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
vicdom: I am not arguing about that but ebiras turnout more in local elections than igalas just like in 2019.in 2023,there was nothing much at stake.ebiras hate igalas more than igalas hate ebiras.almost all ebiras are with ododo.he is the only ebira contesting.ebira will cooperate and bring 50k from okene,30k from ajaokuta,adavi,20k from okehi and 10,000 from ogori.but many igalas are not too keen in the election.you can see the several igala candidates to show you that they are not united.a lot of igala people will collect money and betray ajaka.rhey are many fifth columnists in igala land.they are far more liberal than the radical and hardened ebiras The largest lgas in igala is ankpa,Idaho and dekina and yahaya will suppress their votes as usual, you know this.this will make igala votes equal to ebira votes.pdp is still strong in kogi east so many will vote pdp alongside apc.tjeres no way anaka will get bloc The decider will be kogi west.abejide is pro apc and might collapse his campaign for apc at the dying minutes and even if he doesn't,apc will beat sdp in all the 7 lgas of Kogi west massively which will give apc victory.by the way, ebiras are also indigenous to koton karfe and lokoja. |
