A case of jungle justice was witnessed at Enerhen Road, right outside Edewor Plaza, situated along Effurun-Sapele Road in Warri, Delta State.

A mob managed to apprehend an unidentified armed robber who had committed a theft by forcefully snatching a woman’s phone and handbag on Airport Road, and even callously pushing her out of a tricycle, locally known as a “keke.”

Trendygists learned that fortunately, the elderly woman managed to survive the harrowing experience.

However, local residents who witnessed the incident took it upon themselves to chase down and capture the thief.

The suspect had garnered a notorious reputation in the area, having been responsible for creating disturbances in Warri and its vicinity, an eyewitness told trendygists.

As the incident continued to unfold, the police eventually intervened, arriving at the scene and taking the apprehended man into custody.

Jungle justice/Burning of human used to give me nightmares and hunt me for weeks,like the ALUU boys incident,I couldn’t even sleep alone for some weeks

I was passing by the scene this morning at Edewor plaza entrance, he was running with the flames of fire the mob were pursuing and pumping more fuel…I really didn’t feel sorry for him cos that would have been minus -1 from those keke robbers that Rob and then push their victims out on a motion. They don’t care what will happen to the victims some even stabs their victims on their throat, the lady killed by jakpa Road few months ago was robbed and shot…why pity them when caught ?
