Let me tell you mine. It's was so recent. Some where in Lagos. (I purposely choose not to disclose the location)

So there was this hold up. I thought in my mind to quickly make money transfers. Of course I know that, there are phone snatchers who parade when there is such a hold up, who stretch their hands to grab your phone from through the window. I chose not to wind up, i was lazy to do that. And all of a sudden someone stretched his hands and I quickly dropped my phone inside the car. The guy ran backwards. My driver watched him from the front mirror as he vanished away, after just a few minutes, and then said, they are now two of them coming back.

By then, we had wind up but still not completely. Already the doors were locked. So the same guy stood by my door side while the other by my driver. Both of them, then flashed a big knife under their belt and said bring that phone.

Hmm... honestly I wasn't terrified. I asked "which phone" . He responded "your phone" and then I said "which phone again, shebi you don collect am".
Immediately the other guy heard what I said. He started challenging him, "so you don collect the phone, you dey mad? "
My driver too then continuously said, "he don collect am". That was how the rest of the gang dragged dey guy commot, with thought that he had stolen our phone and wanted to play smart on them.

THIS ONE WILL STILL NOT REPENT. IT IS HIS BODY THAT GOT BURNT NOT THE MIND, IT HIS MIND THAT DOES THE STEALING. HE WILL STEAL AGAIN, WITH A NEW GANG NAME, 'SCARE BODY'.

He will never survive those burns. Infact he will be wishing he had died.

That was criminal. Setting a thief on fire because of a mobile phone? Get him arrested and hand him over to the police. He can also be made to pay for any irretrievable stolen items when taken to court. But to burn him up that way is jungle justice. It's inhuman and barbaric!

It's just a matter of time and he will not survive it. It’s first degree burn and I bet that the NPF will not throw resources into his treatment. And the young man looks so poor as to afford the cost of his treatments. He won't survive it. Take it frome. And if he does, just know God wants him alive for a purpose.

You’re right, his chances of survival are very slim. Those burns will also cause internal damage plus the poor health care factor.
