You can hire Seun. He’s dedicated but dim-witted. He’ll do the work if he knows you’re wealthier than he is. I highly recommend him.

Seun that cannot take care of Nairaland? cry

Don’t you see what he has turned Nairaland into? He’ll turn my house to a dumpsite just the way he has turned Nairaland into.

Neither does the overly pessimstic view really mean anything. So why not allow both the pessimist and the optimist their freedom of belief?

Hunger and depression want to finish me.
Cost of living is expensive and no jobs.
I now know how tough it is to survive as an adult.
I have walked alot of distance applying for jobs. My canvas heel has succumbed to wear and tear. The shoe don really try for me.

No jobs anywhere, the best thing is to solicit for funds and open a shop. Now the problem is raising money,

Just leave your house and integrate with the society, that's when you understand how bad the society is although many are still lucky. May we not run out of luck in our lives

The future is looking good, please keep on keeping on! 🙏🙏🙏

You’re right but I think that’s also unfair. For one to create a means of income, there economy should be conducive for it. For instance we don’t even have a stable power supply, you compare Nigeria to other countries, business can thrive there because there is good policies and infrastructural amenities to enable it. Nigerians aren’t lazy people. I’m not based in Nigeria and I left because it was hard to get any significant job based on merit. Where I am now, I don’t only work for reputable firm but I also have side incomes eg. I’ve got shuttle buses at the airport that I operate, I’ve got Uber vehicles and I do side penetration test jobs for companies. Long story short Nigerian isn’t in anyway conducive to even start a legitimate business, a lot of factors will lead to the demise of that business.

There's no connection between your silly rant and what i'm saying. Being optimistic does not mean not doing the necessary work to grow. It means believing that things can get better and therefore there is value in putting in the work and sacrifices needed. It takes an optimist to fight for better things.

On the other hand a pessimist like the fellow i quoted, who believes nothing good can come out of Nigeria will not do anything to make things better.

Do you understand or you are too silly to get it?

Obviously, Yorubas are the highest dependents on Monthly Salary in Nigeria. I wonder why the Southwestern Government have not started Re-Orientation Programs on Radio and TV to help Yoruba Youths to massively go into Animal Rearing and Farming as they do up North, into sales of Cloths, Car Spare Parts, Building Materials, Electronics as the Older Generations of Igbos have encouraged their Youths to do. Waiting for Monthly Salary is subtle Slavery. Yoruba Governments needs to Support and Help Yoruba Youths to become Business-minded just as the Northern Government had for long Supported their Youths into Agriculture while the Eastern Government has for long supported their Youths into Business. These are Characteristics of truly wise People.

Wrong mindset, lack of foresight and selfish decisions by leaders and followers from independence till date has got the nation to this point.

As Nigeria lays her bed, so she will lie on it.

You can’t plant oranges and expect to harvest cocoa. Basic law of nature. Cold reality.

Keep praying to God that things will get better, you go pray tire.
It's like past leaders were even better and had clues, it's getting worse with each successive leader. The previous one is being seen as better than the current one.

Day time : cultivate on farm some grapes and mushrooms

Night time : code and code till my eyes bleed

I stopped spending unnecessarily, sold tv set, bought a radio, did more of night plan and social bundles, stayed inside and no going outside besides what're you going outside to do if not to receive billing

I harvest from farm and cook, write code and do small LSD or MDMA then I doze off

The goal is to live a simple and easy life even you have money

Take a look at billionaires like El Mencho very low-key guys l

Wow, I didn't know shrooms with LSD can grow in naija. I need to cultivate this too. What's your location?
