The press conference held by Peter Obi was unnecessary and ill-advised . What did he actually hope to achieve with that interview ?

Does he think Tinubu will resign simply because he called him out ? The only option he has like Abati rightly pointed is the Supreme Court which Atiku called him and Kwankwanso to join him and his party chose to abstain.

I don’t support taunting Peter Obi for preaching peace , but I also don’t think that press conference was necessary at all. Atiku has spent millions of dollars in an American court to unravel the mystery behind Tinubu’s sojourn in America , I don’t think it is in Peter Obi’s place to be using the findings for an unnecessary press conference

While its obvious that I don't like Obi

I will say Atiku has conducted himself as the real opposition and politician here

He lost an election he went to court, He wasn't rabble rousing all over the media, he kept quiet, looked for a weakness he can exploit
he put his resources into Chicago findings, After results came out, he picked the part that looked like a weak spot and Called a press conference and told others to follow him

He has effectively established himself as the opposition leader with an issue that can be chased legally not just going online to insult
Right now most of the Obidients are using Atikus findings, talking points and are looking like they are fighting Atikus war because Obi doesnt have much materials to make his claims

So all the gains of Obi is likely going to Atiku and this will upset Obi

What this shows is the difference between well organized political machineries and hurriedly assembled rookies

Which is why I always worry about Atiku candidacy and not so much about Obi
