Greatswimmer: I stumbled on her narration and curiosity made me brought it here for proper analyses ..I am glad I did. .. I am not really attached to religiosity, neither do I have the enthusiasm to learn about their origins. Her narration seems tinted and a bit aggressive towards Islam for reasons quite obvious(indiscriminate killings) Thanks for your contribution though |

larride: I don't know how that will work though. People remitting money are looking for the best value they can get on every Dollar/Pound. Once they bring in Flutterwave and the likes, the diaspora remittance will flow elsewhere. I read somewhere that when CBN banned the use of domiciliary accounts as collateral for obtaining Naira loans, people moved their dollar outside the country and will then bring letters from foreign banks to obtain the loans here. It does seem like for every step that the CBN takes, people are always two steps ahead. 5 Likes |

A001: Baba....your seems versed in so many things especially history but your approach is damn crude nd aggressive.. I like the fact you have a log of back ups for whatever you present here....I must confess I envy and enjoy some of your step by step surgery on matters especially history. I am mostly put off by your incessant acerbic approach towards another person that has a contrary view...... If you can be a bit refined...it is going to be much entertaining and enlightening 2 Likes |

This country and its serious problems sha. Gather 10 youths and ask them some basic facts about the history of Nigeria, you'd hardly get one or two people that'll answer the questions correctly. Repeat the same thing and ask them about the history of their ancestors and forebears, the responses you will be getting are lies that colonial masters from Europe and the jihadists from Arabia put in their head. Ask them basic facts about science, philosophy. You'll get the same outcome. Subjects most people care about are those on mischievous ways to cut corners and accumulate wealth in questionable ways. If you repeat the same experiment with the middle-aged and the elderly, you'll get almost the same results. How will such a country develop when the majority don't even have basic knowledge about key issues pertaining to their own existence? Na wa o. |

You can not be thinking of jobs creation and sufficiency and open your country to be used as dumping ground for inferior goods than the ones local manufacturers are offering in the name of market liberalism. In a world where countries are thinking of localism to avoid disruption that was experienced during Covid-19 Lockdown and ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. What Local Manufacturers need now are tax-breaks, credit facilities, improved power supply not unbanning some items just to please some people, this decision will only worsen our situation in the long run as manufacturers will pack their bags close shops and establish elsewhere. |

Segedinho:I won't change my approach. When I'm insulted unnecessarily, I'd reply you in kind. I'm a human, not a fictitious character like Jesus Christ, the teacher of the "turn the other cheek" philosophy, which only his fellow fictional characters like Superman and Batman can follow in movies, not real humans. I'm here for intellectually stimulating discussions and always seek contrary opinions challenging the things I say. But before you challenge my posts, which contain many facts, make sure you've basic knowledge of the subject. |

On Sky news ex Israeli PM Naftali Bennett was asked- "What about the babies in incubators in Gaza who's life support has been turned off because the Israelis have cut off the power" His answer - Are you serious asking about Palestinian civilians? What's wrong with you? |

afrodoc2: Talking about this, I met an Afghan who fled the Taliban in Kabul for the first time last week and I instantly knew she must be a descendent of the Mongols. Those guys knacked anything in their path without recourse or remorse. There’s a crazy estimate that them devils on horseback single-handedly lowered the earth’s temperature due to the amount of people they killed. I also then realized i had subconscious biases because I only expect Arab-looking or black people to be Muslim but she was a Muslim whilst being facially indistinguishable from Michelle Yeoh Afghanistan has real diversity which i found really intriguing 2 Likes 1 Share |

DeadPresidents: Yeah the Mongols were consummate knackists especially Genghis Khan himself. For a relatively small population they caused a lot of damage and spread their seed far. The native Afghans are of Iranian stock but have major Turkic and minor Mongolic, Arab, Indian and even distant Greek admixture. That your Afghan gf might have gotten her appearance from her Turkic ancestors and not the Mongols. Did you ask her for her ethnic group? 2 Likes |

For example, I am sure you have made many good friends since you got to Australia. You must have penetrated deeply into Aussie society. 11 Likes |
