If NFF/JPes is hell-bent on FB as our goalkeeper, we should approach Arthur then. This time around, we are rolling a lot of carpets for him.

Aribo coming in for Iwobi is where we lost the Midfield battle. Mancini did not overcrowd any Midfield. Either Frank or Onyedika should have come in for Iwobi. At least, they would give the Midfield more solidity if we can't hold the ball.
Thank you o.

What we lacked was an instruction to wear out the game. We still played like we were in the 70th minute

How many called for his head when he scored against São Tomé grin
Tobichimezie:

Chukwueze has been consistently underwhelming in the Eagles shirt, this isn't a one off game. Moses can be frustrating but he gives his all in every game he has played for the Super Eagles.

the same argentina won the World Cup. Go back and review that match. You will see the quality of play. Besides these are two different games with different approaches. Jpes is not the man period. Supernerd was actually right. How will you stick with a formation throughout 90mins. That is not what modern football is all about. Rigidity without results. The guy's days are numbered. Even if we won this game, I will still maintain my point.
grin You're the one that needs to go back to watch KSA vs Argentina especially the 2nd half.

Bro you are hyperventilating o

They resorted to what again? You simply stated Paserio tactics yourself. lol! Mancini occupied the midfield and Paserio occupied the wings and got the goals while Mancini had to rely on a fortunate freekick. lol! Simple football tactics. You need to study better!! lol!!
bro the Saudi’s aren’t at par to our team if compared

I bet you that if mancini’s team was close to ours quality wise he would hv won the game comfortably

BTW make una enjoy una Uzoho,

belike dem go sack Mancini if he had lost the match, baba carry hands as if he was reciting a Muslim prayer, before the freekick was taken

Clear your veins first of the emotion of the game.

Did we struggle in the midfield? What makes you think more bodies in the middle would have prevented a dying minute free kick?

Exactly, I don't even think we lost the midfield after Iwobi went out. Aribo actually slipped and stamped on the guy to give away the FK. While Iheanacho scored, he alsoade some bad decisions, for example shooting instead of passing or making a cross. But men, Chuks and Luku fall hand small.

I will say this. One thing JP has succeeded in doing eventually is not allowing NFF to influence his call ups for the most part. However, It came at a price.. His invites have been on point lately. But his tactics has always been suspect. You get what you pay for.

it was very obvious. That we survived today was because ndidi was brutal. The man was just everywhere. A decent side would have messed us up. I am not after the result. I will still bash his tactics even if we won today. The guy doesn't have it. Why throw in sadiq, at least you saw the miss. That was an opportunity to to bring in an attacking midfielder on his bench

Yes you are right but Sodick probably made a good first impression with JP, recall he worked with him before his long term injury. JP has shown that he prefers a devil that he knows to an angel he doesn't know.

Yes Iheanacho made some bad decisions that could have helped us seen out the game.

But you see Chuks, Lookman and Sadiq? It's hard to say nice things about what they did today

how on earth is comparing our match with Argentina relevant to this. A team that is virtually losing. I rest my case baba

How? By helping Chukwueze, Sadiq and Lookman to score 1v1? My brother, Mancini team that defeated Argentina last year only had one shot on target in 90 minutes oo despite occupying the midfield oo. Just give the coach is probs and blame the players for the missed chances. Simple.

We DIDN'T SURVIVE. We played our game and could have easily won if not for the skirts we had as forwards.

Ahahn, Saudi is no more a decent side? Because of how we outclassed them? Na Mancini coach them o. Grade A coach grin

u are right and I love him for insisting on that clause in his new contract

But he has to trash that his formation heading to the afcon. African footie is rugged and physical so going with a lean midfield in the team’s matches will be suicidal

No matter how good our attackers are currently he shouldn’t be overwhelmed by trying to hv two at the same time in his starting 11.

To me the best option if he insist going with the formation is deploying nacho behind any of boniface, osimhen or Moffi where Nacho will be instructed to drop deeper to help the midfield two when the need arise

Moffi, bony and osimhen are good strikers with different playing style and attributes so he should know the one that suits the way he intend to approach a game then deploy nacho behind his preferred point man

I’m not Chuk’s fan.

I think we can play some of our forwards wide. May be too late for such experiments. The wingers we are praising today be like NEPA. All of them.

a skillful player like Bony can play any where in the front 3 positions

Also iheanacho can be deployed as an auxiliary winger who comes into the middle when needed as well as deliver good crosses as well

. How? School me then? A midfielder would have stabilised that game. At least helped in the defensive phase of the game. Sodiq had no business in that match. Period. Jpes didn't read the game well. I used to rate him.
