We can also blame the teacher who got stabbed to death in France today for occupying their land

ARRAS, France (Reuters) -A 20-year-old knifeman fatally stabbed a teacher and gravely wounded two other people in an attack at a school in the northern France city of Arras on Friday that President Emmanuel Macron condemned as "barbaric Islamic terrorism."

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said France was now on its highest state of alert and that the Arras attack bore a link to events in the Middle East, where Israel is conducting a military offensive to root out Hamas fighters after their deadly rampage.

There are people who will do terrorism regardless of their financial status some even dedicate their money to it. Osama was a wealthy man from a wealthy family, Mutallab was a very rich kid who could have everything in life and they chose terrorism. It's an ideology that goes beyond money

All the yobs in Manchester no one is paying them not to become terrorists

Lols, na mumu comments full here. I don't need to do so. I'm developing a new field of Physics and Math for a range of key natural phenomena.

The level of physics and math involved is highly complex, even much more difficult than Quantum Mechanics that give a lot of physicists a headache.

So, that keeps me occupied and busy a lot.

When I'm done publishing major papers on this project, I won't be the one to translate it into those dialects. It's others that'll do so if they want.

My own part I'll play is to develop the field well and infuse it with as many concepts in Isese (Yoruba culture) and other native cultures as possible and lay a solid foundation for the upcoming generations to build on.

If a body of knowledge is well developed and has lot of depth and key applications that can solve various problems humans face, Oyinbo people no care even if you call am Ifa or Orunmila.

How will this be achieved in a country like Nigeria? We already have english as standard. There's no need to invest in going back to pre-colonial era knowing fully well that we have racist tendencies towards one another. I don't think that's a good investment.

Take Ghana for example, the Twi language is more powerful because the Twi people have held power for long. Consequently, other tribes are under developed. With a Twi government, Activities of the Economy will be Twi-centered. That then defeats the whole purpose, unless you want each language to have its own government.

The most important thing to consider is the human factor.
I stated before that even If I belong to a minority tribe in a place, I'd still use my native language as the primary mode of communication with my fellow tribesmen but adopt the more popular language spoken in such a place (whether native or foreign) as the secondary mode of communication.

Can you point out what's wrong in this approach? I don't see anything wrong there really.

Today, the UN and many people in the science world and other strata of life are keen about diversity and inclusion.

Every ethnic people, people, race clamors for equal representations and opportunities in all areas of life.

Anyone that has lived as a minority in Nigeria would know how it feels like to be discriminated against based on religious and cultural lines.

I don't think you understand how that feels like.

This is one key reason why I clamor for the local languages to be preserved and developed. The major reason is to address the issue of diversity and inclusion.

I support every African to adopt and speak their native language as the primary mode of communication and English language as the secondary mode.

What's wrong in this? Billions of non-English-speaking peoples around the world are doing the same thing.

Are they suffering because they don't want to come under the English people as slaves? Must the English people rule over everyone in the world?

A language has a huge influence on a people, and if you accept a foreign language over your own mother tongue, you've become a second-class citizen to those people and are under them.

Some scientists at NASA are building a system that has so many potential applications. If they develop it well, they can invent such a technology.

The laws of nature to apply for this are known already and they underlie a lot of other phenomena in nature.

The iron dome can only detect the point from where the rocket is launched..So IDF have to target and hit that place immediately.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A001: 9:35pm On Oct 13, 2023
I just read some comments here on the previous pages and laughed. Many people dey here wey no know their left from right. See dem talking about different dialects of Yoruba as if it's only Yoruba that has various dialects.

These ones don't know the number of dialects and accents of English in existence today. Na wa for these people o.

English language has one of the largest, if not the largest, number of dialects and accents of all world's languages. That's fact.

The attached picture below only shows the dialects and accents of English spoken in Europe. See as dem plenty. For Africa, many dialects dey. Go to other continents and regions such as Australia, the Americas, and others, you go see even more.

So many ignorant people on this forum. How can you still speak and understand English language among one and another even with such tons of English dialects and accents available around the world?

Dull people must copy the smarter ones in everything they do. You go copy the way they talk, eat, sleep, pray, and virtually every other thing.

For a typical African, it's forbidden to think and come up with an innovative solution to problems faced in the environment. Let's wait for the whites and Arabs to build them so we can adopt them and do copy copy as usual.

I don't know why a typical African feels inferior to the other races and this inferiority complex even dumbs down their level of intelligence. Na wa o.

The missile has a coordinate programmed for it to hit, If the technology can from the moment of detection hack that the brainbox and reroute it to point where it took off. If doesn't have to be called Irondome we can call it Back to sender

This question requires foolscap sheet to answer. To summarise:

The current Palestinian region (Israel, West Bank, Gaza) is the area of the Kingdoms of Israel, Judah, Edom, and the Philistines in biblical times.

Gaza strip area is where the biblical Philistines lived but that ethnic group vanished a long time ago.

The current Palestinians are a mix of 1) non-Jewish indigenes of the area e.g Edomites, Phoenicians (Lebanese), 2) Arab immigrants into the area, and 3) Jews and Christians who converted to Islam during the over 1,200 years of Islamic rule.

Technically anybody from the region qualifies to be called Palestinian but the Muslim segment has acquired it for themselves while the Jews prefer to be called Israelis anyway. The name itself is a fairly recent invention.
I don't understand the bolded.

You need a yardstick to identify a people. So if anybody technically can answer Palestine then there is no issue.

The words in italics are important because those who claim to be Palestinians today don't fall into this group.

Once a person can picture a technology, any technology at all, they've brought that thing into existence, and it lives in their head. That technology can be brought to life physically at some point in the future.

All the technologies, inventions, languages, religions, etc. of today first lived in the heads of their designers/authors before living in this physical world.

Actually, all these things have a life of their own. But our perception of what's called life as humans is very narrow and limited.

Anything that has energy has a life, though that thing may not exhibit that property called life based on the narrow human perception of the concept in this realm, but exhibit it in other realms.

For instance, languages are living entities. If a person masters some key fundamental principles of nature, they can create a new language.

Many of those that achieved this rare feat in the past saw languages as living beings. That approach has a lot of depth and interesting applications.

While inventing a human language isn't such a dire necessity today as it was in some periods in the past human eras, highly intelligent people can still develop a language.

Programming languages, new physics, new math are all languages in their respective fields.
