So I'm going to look into the Military Tactics of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Military tactics of Simon Ekpa to be able to see how the both differ and the objective of each

MAZI NNMADI KANU

Nnamdi Kanu military tactics seems to focus more on creating small camps and cells of armed men he called Eastern Security Network ESN , they operate in a group of 5-6 people in a hidden camps and some even operate from their houses in the city centre .
Secondly Nnamdi Kanu is more aggressive he is mostly on the offensive war against the Nigeria state , attacking police stations ,check points

SIMON EKPA MILITARY TACTICS

Simon Ekpa is more cautious and playing defensive wars , Simon Ekpa don't have camps , he focus on taking territories and holding it , currently the following Local Governments and town have been taken and control by armed militias , currently Simon Ekpa affiliated Biafra Liberation Army control the following towns and local government in Ihiala LGA , ORSUMOGHU, and LILU town both highly dense rainforest located at the border between Anambra and imo state , also they stretch to Nnewi south LGA in Ukpor , Their is also significant BLA presence and control in the town of Ogbaru linking River Niger - Delta state border then also take towns in imo state which includes Orlu , Okigwe trying to link up to Abia state in Ohafia are all under the control or operational area of BLA . And also the Bakassi Peninsula directly linking Akwa Ibom


COMPARISON SIMON EKPA AND NNAMDI KANU

1-- Nnamdi Kanu maintain camps of not more than 10 armed men operating in isolated camps or location making it easy for Nigeria Police and military to constantly raid their camps and kill or arrest them based on intelligence reports whereas Simon Ekpa Take control of local Government and towns with armed men making it difficult for Nigeria security to arrest and kill them even though their location is well know to the security of Nigeria because the normally get information when the military start invading and have multiple escape route to evade arrest due to large area of land to operate unlike small camps that can be surrounded by police in the middle of the night


2--- Nnamdi Kanu military tactics is more offensive in Nigeria , under him was constant attack against security police stations and check points almost every 48hrs or weekly , so the ESN suffer major casualty sometimes especially when you try to take control of the police stations military checkpoint with 6 people in two SUV also even after successful operation , escape route become a problem they also get waylaid and ambushed

Simon Ekpa is playing a Defensive War , His BLA is just holding towns and waiting for the military or police to attack them . From the military approach of Simon Ekpa he is either Slowly building a solid army or he is gradually taking small villages one at a time until maybe he completely took over the whole south east and make it ungovernable . For now I don't know whether he is playing a Defensive war of taking and holding towns or he is building an army to launch large scale offensive war

Simon Ekpa Affiliated Biafra Nations League also taken control in Bakassi with their armed wing of Black Marine and Dragon fighters ..
