kristien4:the 48v hybrid inverter is the Zinox ipowerplus hybrid...was thinking it has inbuilt equalization or something.. hence i didn't test the individual state of charge.. |

All d battery can't be equal all at the same time, though battery balancer handles that so well but with that manual equalisation, at least there would be 0.1 disparity, which is not bad at all kristien4: 1 Like |

Depends on the number of battery, for an 8 battery, 48volt system, it would be required to series n parallel at the same time but in his case, he can't as it is only 4 battery he has for a 48volt inverter temi4fash: |

kristien4: How long have you use this inverter? What's the size of your panel? Do you use it with separate controller or inbuilt CC? |

kristien4:Rather than do things that would hurt your battery, would suggest you employ service of a trained professional. or ensure you get responses to all questions asked before doing anything. you said "just 3 days use" , oga a few nano-seconds is more than enough to even destroy a brand new quality battery. it's hardly about how long Ooo 1 Like |

My AC is not even an inverter AC, and see my consumption from 12am to 7am today.... Less than 1.2kwh....can't wait to run it on solar.

I have a powmr 60A that behaves the same way.I set lithium charge profile and set both bulk and float charging to 27.6V but I see the CC putting out 30V. gadgetplanetng: |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by saint2ace(m): 6:07pm On Oct 18, 2023 |
dejidotun2000: There's a 0.4v - 0.5v difference between true voltage and the displayed voltage. So you need to do a -0.4 to -0.5v adjustment to calibrate the CC. Try it and give us feedback. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by saint2ace(m): 6:08pm On Oct 18, 2023 |
gadgetplanetng: There's a calibration differential that has to be accounted for. |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by FEGEITOK: 1:55am On Oct 19, 2023 |
Hello house, I tracked down a wire burning smell to the electrical plug adaptor that my inverter is charged by the mains. I then touched it, and it was hot so hot it could burn if the fingers were left there for a considerable length of time. What is the best way to resolve this issue? Thanks, in advance! Additional point: The wire itself is not hot, it is just the plug adaptor that is hot |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dejidotun2000(m): 5:35am On Oct 19, 2023 |
I get what you mean about the calibration but that isn't what is at play here. The CC maintains the set 27.6V for some time but "losses" the setting later and begins to output over 30V. It wasn't like that initially and when I noticed it, I also thought it might be due to voltage drop along the battery cable but after several checks and attempts to calibrate what I realised was that the CC was actually "forgetting" the set voltage. Feat didn't allow me to use the CC since then. saint2ace: |

dejidotun2000: Does this mean the powmr 60A CC doesn't support LiFePO4 battery charging or what? I have plans for buying it soon. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by GloriousGbola: 6:04am On Oct 19, 2023 |
FEGEITOK: it is probably from the socket outlet a socket outlet is meant to be rated for 13A, but a large number of socket outlets sold around and installed by electricians can only carry 5A or less. The usual imitation problem. this is why in most homes sockets in kitchens or where kettle are connected to keep having issues. you want to buy an original confirmed socket outlet - MEM, ABB, MK, Legrand or Schneider sometime last year i bought some original socket outlets and the IRONY is that they cost less than the nonsense sold by electrical shops for electrical it is best to directly source from known manufacturers. there is a lot of corner cutting in electrical materials . you can also ask for genuine ABB plugs |
