Hello, Thanks for your response. I do not have a business as I'm a product designer. Could you please shed more light on the reason i go for my current occupation program. author=bullstriker post=126447599]If your business is registered with CAC, you can study business-related programs like Business Administration, Management, etc. Otherwise, I recommend you go for a program related to your current occupation; the program must not be related to your previous education since you are not a recent graduate [/quote] |

Please, an issue has been troubling my mind for a long time now. When trying to provide the proof of funds, should I base it on the CBN rate or the black market rate? Again, who has the link to the WhatsApp/Telegram group of prospective students at Fanshawe College? |

CBN rate, Bank of Canada rate or IRCC rate. You can Google the last two. Seunthewriter: |

@askarachi Honestly, I don’t see the reason for using agents if you are a regular reader of this platform .. You have all the resources you need here , all you need to do is to just take time to read and consult by asking questions. It’s straight forward. Get a list of college that fits your criteria , apply , secure your addmisson, write your SOP , gather supporting documents, work out your LEGIT POF .. go on Canadian IRCC portal, upload and apply ! Simple as ABC !! … Just ask questions! People here will help you proof read all your documents . Agent almost ruined my life in 2016 until I came here and got legit organic help from people here. With the help of people here , I did everything myself. Not all agents are bad tho .. all I am saying it , you can do it yourself without them. Good luck 🍀 3 Likes |

Good day everyone. My husband and I wants to travel to Canada through the study route however my husband was refused a visitor’s visa to Canada in 2016. The application was done by an agent and he filled that he was married with a child, which is not true. We got married in 2020 and we’ve both travelled to the uk and we’re back to Nigeria. Now we know if we submit anything contrary to what he submitted earlier, it will be termed misrepresentation but we want to be truthful in this application otherwise we will be adding more lies which I do not want. We have ordered his “entire file “gcms notes already but it’s not out yet. Has anyone been in this situation? Please I need suggestions on how to handle it. |

It is best to use the black market rate this will give you an advantage if there is an increase in exchange. send an email for the group Seunthewriter: |

Hi fellow Nairalanders, PLEASE HELP ooo I have an admission offer to study 1 year PGC in strategic management. My tuition fee is $18,263 cad. I have PAID my first semester tuition of $ 9,000 cad. As a banker, I intend to sponsor myself and my Acc statement has a closing balance of 22,500,000 naira which is equivalent of $40,000 cad( no lump sum). PLEASE IS THIS A GOOD POF Considering my second semester tuition of $9,263 cad and one year living expenses of $10,000 cad is covered, ( that’s visa officers still expect you to have reasonable money left in your account after your tuition and living expenses is shown) |

Your closing balance is sufficient enough, however, you need to work on other aspects such as asset and home ties. Returning to your job is a strong home tie among others Kenny4real68: |

There is nothing you can do for it to be open, you have to wait till they start Fall 2024 intake then you can apply. However, you can look out for other colleges in other provinces DelCrux: 1 Like |

Either you adopt her legally or you get consent from the parent with proof of your assistance to her emmyoddy: 1 Like |

Greetings house. I got my 1 year sowp that will expire next year October or there about (2024). My passport that carries the sticker expires in (2025 July). I’m thinking to do a new 10 years passport before leaving in December (migration) as it’s easier to get done here. My question is: hope this won’t raise any issues at the point of entry since we are expected to leave in October 2024.. then why renew passport that expires in 2025 down when you should be back home already ? Just making sure it’s not a red flag, or one should just go with that and face the hassle of getting it renewed there ? Thanks for your inputs as always |

I’m not sure if it is allowed to post a link here. Google ATIP IRCC, or we can request one for you. CanJ: |

It is not a red flag. Ensure you carry both the new and the invalid passport (with the valid visa). Twostep: |

emmyoddy: It's not a must to have a niece or nephew same surname because women can be married out of the family. But provide proof of relationship and explain it on your SOP 1 Like |
