BoldBrainz: But opposition started a propaganda that tinubu is on life support |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by BoldBrainz(m): 10:25pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
garfield1: And instead of Tinubu appointing financial and economic experts to face the collapsing economy, he's appointing more media aides to counter propaganda with more propaganda, abi? Same nonsense Buhari spent 8years doing until he put us on our knees, is what Tinubu is continuing and that's fine by you? |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by garfield1: 10:28pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: Why digressing? We are talking of the propaganda about his health and how he is countering it and your talking nonsense as usual? By the way, tinubu has appointed as much economic experts to tackle the ailing sector |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by BoldBrainz(m): 10:34pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
garfield1: That's the problem with some of you. You happen on a thread and without bothering to follow the timeline of comments, you quote a random comment and launch your puerile attacks. There are days you come on nairaland and drop comments like someone who has absolute command of his senses. Other days you just saunter in and yammer like an habitual drunk who's forgotten the path to his bedroom. |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by garfield1: 10:51pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: I'll ignore the insults maturely unlike you.the thread is about tinubu and his trek to his office not the economy.a sensible person will not mix things up.concerning the economic aspect,I answered you still yet you keep rambling. |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by BoldBrainz(m): 11:01pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
garfield1: Oh, now you see the need to respond "maturely"? After using the phrase "talking nonsense as usual" to describe me? Come on garfield, you should know we're both beyond the point where conversational gimmicks go unnoticed. I know what the thread is about, which in actuality is an embarrassing publicity stunt anyway. Nigeria is collapsing and your President's media aides are uploading propaganda videos of him taking walks to the office, as if that is supposed to fix the litany of problems we have. Ironically, it was another user who even raised the issue of the economy and Tinubu's unnecessary army of media aides, which I replied. But because you probably always get a hard-on from taking potty shots at me, you settled on my own response to the originating comment. Now I respond in kind and I'm the demon..π Niggaaah!! 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by garfield1: 11:04pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: Opposition floated a propaganda that tinubu is on icu and tinubu floated a video to dispel the news.why are you pained? I told you tinubu has made so much appointments in the economic and financial sector as much as he did in the media aspect, you neglected it |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by BoldBrainz(m): 11:08pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
garfield1: Irrespective of the economic appointments he has made, your president has more information and media aides than the number meant to advise on the economy. And we're all seeing the results so far. |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by garfield1: 11:11pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: There's nothing wrong in having many media aides esp as the opposition is strong in the media inorder to tackle any falsehood and also sell or publicize the efforts of the administration.an economy destroyed in 8 years cannot be repaired within 4 months mr.this is commonsense.give him at least a year, the indices are looking good |

garfield1: Really garfield? The indices are looking good? The current Nigerian indices are looking good? Are you actually being fvcking serious right now..π? No one was expecting your President to fix Buhari's 8years of idiocy (which I compulsively need remind you that y'all supported while it lasted), in 4 months. But completely destroying and eroding the bit Nigerians had to hold on to, while he and his cronies waltz the country in opulence and extravagance, has to be the height of incompetence and leadership thoughtlessness. |

BoldBrainz: You still don't get it.for tinubu to repair tinubu's rot,he was make difficult choices.theres no easy options please.buhari has never been good economically but tinubu is good at it.give this man at least till January. The indices are indicators or ratings from rating agencies which clearly said Nigeria economy will rebounce gradually from next year.all hands are on deck to fix the economy.tinubu isn't foolish,he knows Nigerians are most concerned with the economy and when it is fixed,he buys their mind. How is tinubu wallowing in opulence? Tinubu has been a man of high taste, opulence and wealth long ago so should he now pretend to be poor? So because dangote accepts to join politics for instance,he should hide his wealth? This is ludicrous |
Re: Video Of President Tinubu Heading To The Office Today (Photos) by BoldBrainz(m): 11:51pm On Oct 17, 2023 |
garfield1: Over 50 ministers: First in our democratic history. Thousands of aides so far attached to his appointees. Appropriation for over 350 land cruisers with each worth 160 million naira, being funded with loans. An array of stupendous government expenditures in just 4 months. A host of other executive excesses I cannot list. Is all of that indicative of a government that recognises the dire situation of the country to you? Have you seen the proposed 2024 budget? Have you seen the increase in personnel cost? With Buhari we were lamenting for a cut in cost of governance, only for your President to come and increase budgetary allocation with an extra 6 trillion naira. That is outside the supplementary budget he has already submitted to the NASS for the remainder of this year. But on this end of the divide, the middle class has almost been completely eroded. Another 7million Nigerians have joined the poverty crowd. But we're to sit on our hands and give him time. Lol. |

BoldBrainz: Appointment of more ministers, aides is not a big issue.the big issue is fixing the economy, power supply, infrastructure, insecurity, corruption, education, health system and the firsr step is to appoint the right people to critical, sensitive positions which tinubu has done.to fix the economy,we cannot reduce expenditure but rather increase expenditure, increase our revenue base, employ more.there is too much poverty that we cannot afford to reduce spending but increased govt coverage.tinubu believes in carrying people along, large government, empowering and rewarding people hence his large govt.nigeria has 200 mil people so the govt must spread it's net extra... The NSE has made the highest gains ever, tinubu has set up a world class economic team who have started churning out policies to salvage the situation.dele alake is seriously working to macimise and open our solid minerals sector, you can see the hands of tunji in interior ministry.our own owan enoh is familiarizing in the sports sector.betta edu has been super active, churning out various initiatives from this very one to reforming npower, paying backlogs, caring for the IDs,bringing new initiatives.yoi can see what wike is doing in fct,the new policies of CBN gov to strengthen the naira.yoi can see umahi's moves, the tax reforms from taiwo oyedele.yoi can see how the military are routing remnants of Boko and the bandits.give this man time odum.. The plan to buy new vehicles by nass has nothing to do with tinubu please.the legislature is a different arm of govt.our concern is with executive who execute policies |

garfield1: I can spend another handful of minutes dissecting all you listed but I have to admit, I'm quite botched. Had the entirety of yesterday proofreading and editing a 30 page document so my senses are in a bit of a drool. One thing I can tell you for free is, Yemi Cadoso's first policy of lifting import restrictions on 43 items is going to backfire. Fuel price is going to see another clamour for an increase. And the dollar is not going to close the year below 950 naira (this is even being generous). And by the first quarter of next year, that's when Nigerians will understand the actual dictionary definition of "suffering". |
