Good day all. I am trying to renew my US visa as I am eligible for Dropbox. I have completed the DS-160 form and went to the portal to schedule a visa interview. I completed all required information and inputted my receipt number. After this was done, I got the next prompt which was “your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. You will receive your request once your request is approved “ I would like to know if this response is normal. Is it after approval I would be able to pick a date to drop off my passport?Also, how long do I have to wait before I can receive the email approval? I would appreciate your kind response. Thanks

You can but you would have to keep checking and pray that a date comes out.

I would advise you to lock down any date you see and keep checking.

That is what I do for my clients and check day and night.

You need to ask the agents that sell the dates. The truth is that there are legit seller's of dates, I'm a witness as my Aunt got within a month frame, she did her interview this week and has gotten the visa.
Just be cautious with who you are dealing with. Involve a lawyer if you are not comfortable.

You spent 4 months in America , never a good idea to spend more 3 months in a visit … pray make dem no call you for an interview oh

Please allow your wife get her visa before you go for renewal. You can apply after hers. Meanwhile hope you have a valid explanation for the 4months stay. Dem no de too like am.

You can apply as soon as your visa is less than 3 months to expire but let the visa expired . your four months stay is a red flag in recent US visa renewal,I am not to discourage you but to prepare you for your valid reasons for staying for such a long time. Your wife chances is as good as any other first timer once she can defend her reasons for choosing the US for her next vacation.

Every point of entry is the same as long as you have nothing to hide.

It is only difficult at POEs when you are going to give birth in the US. That aside all POEs are the same. JFK's POE is even automated to an extent. That was my POE in 2017.

There’s no provision to input property or list your children in the form. You can only include other people in your form if you’re traveling with them.

Imagine this people are just reaping off. If we can’t explain we have kids or not and we have property in the form so how do we let them know we have strong ties back home. When I’m the interview they won’t let us say much.
