Hey guys, I know this isn't related to the topic but it is still on tax evasion. I want to know if you can be found and slammed with a bill for not paying taxes, if you have been working an online remote job for about 3 years but just registered for a TIN?

If so what kind of payments are you expected to make?

go to your FIRS office where your TIN is domiciled, ask for TIN update form, fill it accurately and use the company email address, email notification will be sent to you immediately, then you can login to tax promax and do your VAT return in the comfort of your office, apply for TCC on tax promax and your application will be queried based on what you said earlier that there was no record of VAT return, secondly failure to submit an audited account for the Year ended 31st December 2022 after June 30th 2023 attract a penalty of #60,000 each month. For how to go about filing on tax promax and how to reduce your penalty and get your tax clearance within 2 weeks you can send me a PM and my firm will have one on one engagement with your boss for my terms and conditions of service

I'm in a bit of a dilemma regarding taxpro max stuff. After CAC registered my company successfully, I proceeded to taxpro max website to complete application. However, I can't seem to get past OTP validation section. It throws off error 500. I've been on this for days now. Please could you advice me on what to do? Do you think visiting their physical office could fix this? Many thanks

Boss, it's still the same. I've used different networks. Still getting error 500 even after refreshing.

Hey boss. I was finally able to get this sorted. I registered on TaxPro Max website successfully. However, when I tried to look up my TIN on the verification portal it said "Kindly visit your taxoffice and register on TaxPro Max". The bank wants to verify the TIN and I'm wondering If this is "normal". Thanks in advance.

Yes it's normal for them to verify the TIN. The way the FG is going no one will run from taxation again.

You need to register with them officially and the will issue you a VAT letter.

wait for 24hrs it will be active. Go to tin verification portal use RC/BN for search and enter your CAC registration number

Hey boss. I waited 24 hours but didn't get activated. So I went to their office and was told that I would need to complete documentation of necessary documents provided by CAC. I don't have any problems with that. However, I am asked to include "auditor's name and address" in one of the questionnaires I'm meant to answer on a letterhead. I don't have an auditor and wonder how to get one. What do you advise? Sorry for the inconvenience.
