You are being way too assumptive and in some regard naïve.

First of all the SA league has direct linkages to several clubs and leagues.

Pienarr was exceptional in the Ajax feeder club in SA and went straight to Ajax Amsterdam. The rest is history.

Benni McCarthy left SA amongst several other players to top teams in Europe. Benni is currently a coach in Manchester United.

You cannot Equate the standard and quality of football ⚽ in SA to that in the top league of Europe. If Ndah was any good he would not be in SA that's a reality.

Then put him in a top league and all that assumed quality becomes non existent.

You need to be real your personal emotive preferences cannot be objectively justified.

You see a good african league such as morocvi sa etc is better than any league outside the top 20 leagues of Europe.
In fact it is doubtful that any nordish league is better than a good african league.

My brother e remain to turn am to reality show 'Nigeria's next Top Goalkeeper' sponsored by Bet9ja.

daveP:

Things are at an all time low sotey na to open GK special camp from NPFL. Test them with that ball machine for different shot angles and see the assessment for saves first of all. Then we move to ball playing later. It's not even a top priority right now. Na that saves

At my age I always looking back and I will say to myself “my parents must not hear this even outside Nigeria”

A good child would have come out and say am sorry and Nigeria fans will say no wahala.

What a hell with our players, playing for super eagles is a lifetime achievement….a very good friend of mine Dayo Ajoge had just 5 minutes appearance for eagles against Jamaica in London friendly and cherished it with pride.

Simple criticism even from pundits na wahala. They should go and learn from Mikel Obi on how to handle criticisms

Please be serious 😭

Woman football is not on the level of professional youth football.

England womens team would be flogged blue and black by Liverpool U15 infact that too good.

Wimbledon U15 will.kick them off the pitch.
Insulting Nigeria fans not acceptable so anything thrown at poor Uzoho he should accept it…this forum is on 15,000 pages just cuz of super eagles and a player was telling us to hell.

We are not talking about the team as a whole but the sum of its parts.
I've played basketball and even football with some exceptional girls and you won't feel any drop in quality. Atimes, we do forget they are girls.

Mercy Akide, Perpetual Nkwocha have said in interviews that used to play with guys. I've also watched Asisat Oshoala play against professional men players some years back in Lagos.

This Chiamaka Nnadozie you're seeing, I can bet you, she do play against guys often. These kind of girls do not enjoy playing with fellow women . That can only be the explanation for her top quality.

Come to naija, you will see alot of girls in better physical condition than you playing football against boys.

Home training or not a man will always defend himself. Plus we all know the criticism was not simple grin . From his response u can see that he is answering people who say he shouldn't even be a goalkeeper and what he said was the truth. To make it to the level he is at is not easy and we can't take that away from the man just because he has been piss poor at the moment.

Enyimba's AFL Quest begins

It's the big one on Sunday. African Football League (the Super League version in Africa) with Enyimba, Nigerian Champs up against Moroccan Giants, Wydad Casablanca.

Excited to see Daniel Daga feature in this against the best on the continent.

BascoVanVeli, am an ardent follower of your youtube channel, please that boy need no defence from you. He virtually knows what he is doing
i can bet that what he did he the return leg with Ghana and Saudi Arabia has underlying motive. Is it not the same Uzoho that kept against Man utd. The better we discard that boy quickly from the National team the better for our mental sate of health or he will infect the low level players remaining in the team.
Did you see Ndidi reaction and look when he slammed the ball in the net...an harmless kick from 35meters...
His reaction to criticism smoked him out. JP mentioned going forward players with high ceilings will dorn the SE jersey

Work in progress team. Think this match comes too early for Enyimba. They will try but this quarter final is the end of the road.

If Uzoho situation at his club doesn't improve before the start of the WCQ, Peseiro must discard him unless he wants to lose his job..
His Snapchat story shows that he doesn't care at all.... That isn't what a true professional would do.. It's unfortunate to see how his quality has dropped, considering he had a lot of potentials back then when he came into the scene... Maybe the quality is still there, but for now, he isn't in form..

Peseiro should grow some balls and call up active goalkeepers in the NPFL or Europe... Or maybe just give Adeleye a chance... a bench warming goalkeeper in a league like Cyprus shouldn't be our number one

IMO he should be dropped he is far from essential to the team.

This guy cost us WC but heaven did not fall cuz he took the criticisms in good faith but why now on top friendlies you are coming out on social media telling us “does it easy for Oyibo to sign him’” stupid mentality.

So he just came up with that statement out of the sky right? U and I both know that not all the criticism was constructive. Then about the world cup, we also know that is part of the anger people have today. So it was not on top of friendly. It was on top of all issues put together.

Basco criticism is part and parcel of the football game so what Uzoho is facing no matter how bad or vitriolic is nothing new under the sun.

The only way Francis should be answering his critics is on the football pitch.

Uzoho has not faced up to 10% criticism the likes of Mikel, Enyeama, Oliseh have encountered in their SE careers.

Have you watched the Beckham documentary on Netflix? That will give a better understanding of how Uzoho should begin to address his problems.

Thanks for following the channel, much love.

Uzoho was fantastic in the first leg against Ghana and he was looking good against Saudi and Mozambique until disaster struck.

Who was looking at Ndidi when he was making mistakes up and down last season I wasn't a fan of his bombastic side eye even though I did see the comedy in it.

If anything what Uzoho did was a stroke of genius. Instead of focusing on his mistakes, we are talking about which of us the white man would take to Europe grin

Mehn Oliseh had to wait 4 business days before he read any criticism towards him grin we are talking about social media at its highest power. Even Mikel and Enyeama didn't really feel the full extent of what players today go through. Plus they were never seen as the ones that cist Nigeria a world cup ticket so u can't honestly say they seen worse.

For me, he should be punished severely for that post.
No one is greater than the country and what makes a country is its people.
He should not get invite not until he apologize and improve.

I really do not think Uzoho is the problem. He sadly is reflective of the nonchalant culture that pervades the Super Eagles today. I spoke about this a few days ago and some persons felt I was saying too much. It takes high level I don't care attitude to take a dig at fans like he did.

This isn't making excuses for some expletives he's had to endure, but truth is all of these things are why footballers get paid as much as they do. Criticisms, hazing, insults as bad as they are are job hazards and come with the territory. Every sports man knows this. They have to learn to deal with it. Some totally just deleted or restrict who interact with them on that space. He's a professional, sadly he didn't act like one.

Which people did he disrespect? U guys just want him out one way or another grin since u know the coach won't do it u want to use technicalities. I never took my criticism outside of what happened on the pitch so I know he is not talking about me. My guy Francis can easily switch off the comments section if that is what is paining him.

Don't forget Mikel was getting it left and right from SE and Chelsea fans yet he comported himself. Enyeama was part of the people who cost Nigeria the 2006 WC but and we didn't hear pim yet it is Uzoho that is going through it instead of him to get a hold of himself.
