The whole of the SE is now a massive construction yard.
Suddenly, everyone in the motherland is marketing real estate/estate land.
Congratulations to ronu people for helping us look inwards.
By the time Abia state makes headway with the seaport,it shall be game over.

I don't know why they reopened Ladipo market. We no send them during closure. We were busy expanding Eastern markets and sending goods to SW.

Because of the small small 100/50 factories that's why you're making noise.

The reason is not farfetched. Investors in the SW are mostly outsiders and foreigners, but now naira is crashing heavily and cost of production over the roof, it makes no sense for most foreign investors to continue pouring water inside basket. But in the East, local investors are in majority, so they don't really have need to repatriate funds that will become worthless after conversion. Other factors also make it easier for our local investors than foreign investors to survive in a rundown economy like ours.

If Igbos should get more intentional, this is the time to completely take control.

All I see is so much bitterness and envy.

This is actually one of the reasons these igbos hate Yorubas. That southwest is doing better in all angles and economic power of the country brings them so much hatred and pains

This is the height of inferiority complex

What a shame

Typical IPOB mentality. Everything is about competition even when there is no need yet the domineering mentality has not yielded results. Tueh

I went out to buy noodles today. They don't have indomie but have Bestie and Tummy Tummy. They said indomie has become unaffordable and people have switched to more affordable brands. Indomie is owned by Indians with factories in Ogun, pH and Kaduna. Tummy Tummy is in Nnewi owned by Nnewi man. Bestie noodle is in Nsukka owned by Nsukka man. Igbos will take over from the multinationals as bad economic squeeze them out

I really pity these foreign investors. Imagine bringing in say $5 million dollars into Nigeria but after doing business for a while and it's time to repatriate the funds, exchange rate will reduce it to $2.5 million dollars. That's on top of buying diesel at 1000 per litre and battling other high cost of production. Such investor won't even recover his seed capital talk less of making profit. That's why they're all running away.

Those smaller factories are what is sustaining China's🇨🇳 economy...

Naira is failing today because Nigerian has nothing to trade with we have nothing to export to other countries...

You have been saying this for decades, yet all your able bodies in your entire region keep boarding night lorries enroute Lagos.
You said so when:
........FCT was moved from Lagos to Abuja
.........Int'l Airport was opened in Abuja
.........riverport was constructed in onitsha
.........Enugu Airport became int'l
..........2nd Niger bridge was commissioned
.........PYO commissioned a dedicated power plant for ariara market in aba etc. etc.
