A student can start working full time after the course completion date and not after graduation. Your school immediately notifies the Home Office once you completed your course, which gives you the liberty to work full time. Iruobe1987: |

Yes you can live anywhere in the UK away from your school if you are comfortable with that arrangement. CannyDoll: |

Why are you pushing this sef? It all has the potentials of landing both the facilitator and investor in the AML murky waters ....don't be a money mule!! triplo3: 1 Like |

bigtt76: I don’t get. Can’t people with legitimate means of livelihood (e.g working in oil & gas) buy property abroad. I know people who have bought properties in SA, Dubai, USA but to name a few. So because of AML murky waters someone that has income/network in Naira can’t diversify their portfolio. Let’s be open-minded please. If you don’t have the answer, no problem. I’m seeking experience people that have gone through the route legitimately. In fact, all I’m asking for is choice location or strategy for the property market in this country. Thanks and God bless 7 Likes |

bigtt76: Lol how is it automatically a money mule situation that someone abroad wants to buy property in the UK? it's not that unusual. Specialist lenders offer this, although it's usually at the level of HNIs financing high-end properties. Obviously the lender will run stricter AML/CFT checks but if the money is clean fundamentally the mortgage is still a low risk transaction for the lender given the house is the security. 4 Likes |

topellycategory:Thanks. Ultimately the decision is yours. If you are a first time buyer, it may be easier to go with the builder's preferred brooker. If you prefer 1st broker, please use them. I doubt there will be any penalty. The sales rep may probably get a cut of the fees hence their recommendation. 1 Like |

BarrElChapo: His assets if he is the higher earner and madam is a home maker, looking after the kids etc, your investments, salary earned or money made through business while married will be regarded as family assets and as such will be on the table to be shared with madam and kids if marriage ends. 3 Likes |

Viruses: I experienced this also. I spoke with the developer's broker as recommended, they did their financial assessment (affordability checks) and passed it on to the developer but I told them during the conversation that I already have my broker. Made it clear to the sales advisor as well during reservation that I've got my broker. I went for the developer's solicitor though (so maybe a win-win), as the solicitors recommended by my broker were either slow in responding to my initial mail or just too expensive. All going good so far and the solicitor has been great. 2 Likes |

LionInZion: You will only value the work madam does in the house and the kids when you hire a nanny or house help to do that job. You will still support the house financially and pay the nanny and your kids and house will be in the hands of a complete stranger. You can not put a price tag or value to the work a good supporting wife does. Peace of mind alone is priceless. My wife works part time because of the kids while i work full time, she does the school run, shopping, cook etc. I don't have the same insistent she has with the kids. I do look after the kids after work or on my off days and i know i struggle sometimes, so i have deeper appreciation. I will be more than happy to share 50/50 with her 21 Likes 2 Shares |
