MASTERCHIEF0847: I don't like insulting people but you will be a foolish fool and an idiot to believe fuel was at is highest. Go and study the fuel chats and see when it was at is highest and for what period. This administration has a better average then any other administration yet fuel keeps galloping. Stop talking rubbish about the fuel as a reason. Let it be sold at 200 per dollars your condition will become worst because your life depends on it. Cheaper fuel is what is required for prices to drop down. |

nairalanda1: We wouldn't have known that. Jonathan's administration did us lots of disservice by his lame approach. Buhari did help either and sincerely am more disappointed in him, because I expect better approach to managing the economy. |

qwertyuioplm: Jonathan did not perform any magic. In fact he was also clueless, confused and spineless too. He was only fortunate to have met a strong CBN governor like Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, whose polices helped to maintain the exchange rate and prevented the dubious banks from fleecing and taking advantage of Nigerians to manipulate the rate. But the same Jonathan removed Sanusi as CBN governor when Sanusi raised the alarm about the corruption in NNPC. We all know that SLS has been vindicated with time. Jonathan then appointed the useless Emefiele (most useless CBN governor), who started the destruction of the Naira and then this useless Tinubu has now made it worse. We need very stern and strong CBN governor like SLS who can take on the banks, BDCs and politicians that manipulate the exchange rate system |

zoghys: At the end, the problem is that we don't earn much money in the first place. APC even had a chance to make a difference self. They did not. I don't see tinubu making a difference |

Jonathan, one of the leaders that should be stoned to death in Nigeria, just like Tinubu , Buhari and any past or current politician that has a part in the current predicament being faced by Nigerians. With the excess crude oil money, countries like Saudi-Arabia were busy planning for the future, vision 2030 then, which led to many industrial cities in Al-Jubail and other part of Saudi's.Aside the excess money made from hajj and oil,Saudi diversified their economy through Sabic and Aramco by producing different petrochemicals, fertilizers, pipes, copper wire and cable, truck assembly, refrigeration, plastics, aluminum products, metal products, cement to mention few, and this has led to the birth of so many companies both local and internationals that are serving as affiliate to these two giant companies. Goodluck should tell us what happened to our own excess reserve, part was shared to some rogues who called themselves governors and the rest was stolen by Goodluck and his allies which include Madueke and even Peter Obi. Nigerian will not forgive them. I remembered how he shared gold plated i-phone as souvenir at the wedding of an adopted daughter. Also, he wasted billions of dollars on his re-election bid to settle their corrupt political structure. Nigerians should wake up to teach people like Tinubu what to do.Enough of empty strike threat, we should all come together, anywhere we see any public office holder either senator, governor, president and even their family members, we should gather in thousands and STONE THEIR CARS. Let them shoot all of us , then we would see the position of the international community. Some of us don't have landed property to sell to Japa and we are well nurtured that we can not do cyber crime. We need to hold the bull by the horn and let them know it is eye for an eye.I wept today when I see naira falling to 1,155. Enough of our joint wealth being stolen. We need to save our country.Lastly,Obasanjo will not know peace, he showed them the way to steal. He attached too much money to our political system for selfish game.He is a useless old fool and his generation to come will surely pay for this agony.Baba weere. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Nigeria's economy is at the apron strings of the IMF and the Colonial master. Colonial master did not impose Jonathan upon Nigeria; and did not dictate to President Jonathan. Jonathan came in from the death of Yar'adua. Jonathan left when the Colonial master wanted. Buhari and Tinubu are footsoldiers of the Colonial masters. Before ever Tinubu started presidential campaign, he first went abroad and got annointed by the Colonial master who has Nigeria as plantation. Obama and the CNN nearly shouted themselves hoarse in their campaign for Buhari to become president of Nigeria. US is an extension of GB. Since June 2023, there is hardly any day the Naira did not crumble against the GBP and the US Dollar. If unchecked, the Naira may soon be like Somalia's currency at the heat of Somalia's war against the Al Shabab. |

kpompey: I stopped at Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia earns far more than Nigeria. To defend their currency in 2014 they spent 2-3 times our Forex revenue. To defend their currency! That is why they have more than enough money to do stuff 40 million people and ten million barrels of crude a day is nothing to laugh at. Nigeria is and was and has always been broke..and we need side hustle |

Its was simple , let the poor do their illegal activities and the south oil trade became open at the down stream , as far as they dont steal or kill but buhari decided to choke the south witch was the nerve of the total country , the northern illiterates and half baked became handlers of the sensitive system built for the genius |

He had professionals handling the economy. Well trained nigerians, people like Okonjo of WTO, Adesina aganga..... he was able to succeed because he was detribalized. Even though people call him a weakling, he was a MAN he handled shít for nigerians without us even knowing; Just as children eat food without knowing the hustle their father put in to keep their belly full. This current politicians are like those house-help that maltreat babies. |
