"On October 20, Friday, the court that sided with Grayscale is set to deliver a mandate to the SEC, potentially compelling the regulator to respond following months of inaction on Bitcoin ETF applications."

So, today, SEC will be compelled for a response....a denial, we all know where the price will be, an approval...we all know...let's keep watch. Think judgement is generally given in the morning US time.

The coming BTC halving will be the usual buy pre-halving and sell close to the halving period.

A fair pre-halving price top will be btw 40-44k before a probable sell to the 30k region. Then the etf approval coming in march will then lead to the bull market cycle into a new ATH by 2025.

We aren’t going to see these 20k levels again for a very long time once we build support @ 30k come Nov.

Looks like we’re seeing this sooner than later.

Don’t you just get it? The people are broke, 90% of Nigerians no get up to 500,000 Naira for account. They can’t broke the currency. People trading p2p do not even have the firepower to raise the price of BNB not to talk of the Naira.

Prior to this whole p2p thing, the central banks ban the banks, financial institutions from the transactiing of cryypt00 because the Naira was failing, still it does not stop. What is happening to the Naira is on a Global scale beyond internal, it supply and demand forces at work. This current stage we are in has been setup a long time ago majorly due to bad political leadership and funnily it yet to change.

No one want to hold the Naira, no demand for it. You are not producing anything!!! Your citizens are selling their houses, businesses just to push for visa to travel overseas to earn other currencies.

You can be deluded as much as you want but p2p is not even anywhere close to cause of the downward spiral of any currency. Currencies are meant to be traded, if your economy is poor money will leave the economy and move to where things are bubbling. Money goes where it needs to go. And I tell you, we have not even see the suffering yet, at all!!!!!!!!

Is it the people that don’t have 500k that are making those 10 million naira orders on Binance?

Kindly check out that gap between 1188 and 1182, this is what happens everyday in both buy/sell sections… on Tuesday, I saw it live from from 1060 straight to 1090. This is organized manipulation, I’m steady on this p2p section and I know what I’m saying. Most buying and selling are carried out by the same people

I understand what you're saying perfectly. The manipulation on p2p is too much. In real sense, dollar to naira is not up to this rate but trust Nigerians na, we feed on any given opportunity to our gain.

Enyinne:
I know ur selling on p2p thats why ur being defensive . After selling it , u will buy food and build house, I hope the prices of things will be cheap enough for u so then u will know u didn't make profit even though u sold higher in p2p .

It’s painful not having usdt now, and I can’t even risk buying at this rates… it may go up further I know, but one single policy statement or news that the government has borrowed to defend … and we could go back to 1000 areas .

Your country imports almost everything and export less than 10%...what do you think will automatically happen to your currency when demands are higher than supply?? This is simple economics na....they did not teach you economics in secondary school at least ?? I feel irritated that some of you are blaming binance P2P for the decline of your currency instead of you tackle the real problem....do you think the usdt/naira chart just form by itself ?? Or binance just bring up the chart from their head ?? Don't you know that the major P2P traders make use of that same chart ??

Outside binance ,more than 100 million dollars are traded every 24 hours and you think binance P2P is the issue?? Some of you should be comedians......

For example , just take a walk to bureau de change offices at ikeja and see the way dollar is scarce yet many people are parking their cars trying to buy the same dollars that is scarce. What do you think will happen when there are demands and the supply is extremely low ?? Of course it will drive the price higher....common sense na ..smh...

Yeah the same way your government told you that they have removed subsidy and that is why fuel will sell for 500naira and above....only for them to now recently claim that there is still subsidy on fuel and the price of the fuel is now automatically above 500naira.. dey play ..meaning they scammed the citizens....relief ko panadol ni

And how can you prevent price manipulation in a bad economy ?? Don't you know price manipulation will be successful when an economy is bad...?? You are not fixing the bad economy but you want to fix price manipulation?? Do some of you even listen to yourselves before you talk ??

Even in the western countries the price manipulation happens too but it will not be too problematic for their currencies because their government are protecting their economy the right way it should be ...

FIX THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM....DON'T JUST CUT THE DAMAGED PART OF THE TREE , CUT THE MAJOR THING THAT IS CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE TREE ITSELF..COMMON SENSE. SMH...

I remember that is how some of you during that time kept blaming abokifx for the reason why the naira was weak. Then they banned abokifx..guess what ?? Less than five days the naira even got worse then the same people blaming abokifx now shifted the goal post and started blaming another thing or the other...you people will not learn in this country.. smh

Oga you have been arguing aimlessly? No one has exempted the Government from the blames of the bad economy, we have been discussing about bad government, corruption since Nigeria’s inception. The argument is whether or not there is price manipulation on binance and whether or not those the effects of those manipulation trickle down to the parallel market/black market and answer is yes.

You can now use this answer to curb the further plummeting of the naira if you are a government official.

I’m not responding to you again.

that's what I let them know, in a dissynfunctional country like Nigeria.. whatever an average man can leverage to make money 💰,let him do it.. even if it's manipulating the naira dollar to 2k per dollar.. let him do it to survive..

Mtchewwww and who are those buying that same dollars at the price that was manipulated?? Sit down there....let the government not fix the economy and see if dollar will not enter 2k...binance or no binance....some of you even think currency trading starts and ends on binance.. smh... ......binance p2p have existed for several years now and the naira was less than 300naira during that time . ..you did not blame binance p2p that time ooooo...the silly APC government ruined the economy and now dollar is at 1200naira ..you are now blaming binance p2p.....when things go well you praise the government. When things go bad..you will suddenly blame binance p2p and leave the major culprit...continue

I’m trying out binance margin trade to short some coin unfortunately I can’t short, I can only long. Maybe I’m doing it the wrong way, is there anyone here trading margin and also shorting there. Please I will appreciate if you put me through

You couldn't short because there was no polyx available in the funding pool for you to borrow at that time.

You can avoid that situation by borrowing upfront using manual borrow instead of auto borrow.

When the FG borrowed 3 billion to defend naira, it reflected quickly on Binance chart as naira quickly fell to 890.
