Help me nairaland. I'm just too stingy and calculative to the extent that it's affecting myself.

I'm just too stingy, calculative and hoarding to myself and people around me.
I do save money for future endeavors that's making me so stingy to the extent that I can't clothe and feed well again. But what I save for is not forthcoming.
Now the thing has gotten to my mental health to the extent that I can't even give anything to anyone.

It's affecting my relationship and my life. I'm not just enjoying life now just because of it.
Everyone is complaining about it. But I seem there's nothing wrong with me.


Now, anytime someone takes what belongs to me, I will be so angry. I don't just want anyone to use any of my things. Be it Polo, shoe or anything. I will be so angry.
I can't even bring out money and use it for myself.
This evening, my friend wore my clothes and it's making me so furious that it's affecting my mental health.
Emotions all over my head now.

Stingyness start from childhood.i believe those who you share childhood memories with would detested you for the fact that you are stingy.

The only problem I see is you not spending on yourself....


When I was saving to buy my first car, I deprived myself so many things. I was accused of being stingy and not making efforts to look nice ...

I was even told that I used to be very handsome and they can't tell what came over me.

I didn't buy new clothes for two years I saved virtually half of my salary, the other half was strictly for food, rent and transportation. I didn't want to get a loan because I wasn't ready to face their nonsense.

This was three years ago.

I spoke with my then gf and she was really supportive and later left because she wasn't enjoying the spending anymore.
