When you make argument on that front, there is no way you won't be resisted. I personally oppose Obi just because of this. I can't speak for other people who oppose Obi. I strongly believe that Bola Tinubu is a great leader and his policies have immensely helped the nation.

Obi the Messiah would have fixed the economy by now and made 1 dollar equal to 1 naira, the same way he made Anambra the best state in Africa during his tenure as governor.
