Buckingham judge grin

He's an idiot. He can't even get reasonable jobs there due to his age. He's opening gates there and holding Motorola radios. This is someone who had 2 Police orderlies attached to him when he was in Naija.

11. Insta-vlog clouters who cry at certain things being different abroad. This world’s a very big world. Nigeria is just one country. Adapt a little or stay myopically bound. It doesn’t mean throwing away your primary culture (as if) but it does mean acknowledging it’s not just you and Nigeria in this world.

It’s just like how some ugly Yoruba tribalists almost come close to claiming certain Igbo-made cultural markers (ogbono, Osuofia, Aki and Pawpaw, at this rate probably even onugbu) but turn around and say that their insular tendencies make for another level of sweet (no, honey; it just makes you a/n ignorant, ugly and tribalistic idiot who likes to roll in things that aren’t yours but disrespect and marginalise the people) . If you’re going to wear Brazilian weaves (which I’m not sure I even particularly recommend), eat Igbo food, watch Igbo movies, watch Korean drama, press Asian-made Apple ’phones, use borderline-Israeli greetings (shalom) and eat Canadian maple syrup, respect that it’s not all about you and try and get to know those people and sub-cultures for yourself. We’re all inter-connected in this world. God knows I HATE narrow, myopic, one-sided Nigerians, whether that’s the certain type of tribalist I’m talking about or annoying freshies who call Cambwerwell/Runcorn grannies bad-arse gangsters for smoking 20 Lambert and Butler a day, not knowing that smoking’s a huge part of British culture traditionally (even if everyone just wants to vape nowadays as far as nicotine goes) and not a hooker/ashewo/hoodlum look like it is in Nigeria. Freshies have a lot to learn about the world in general.

There are no witty political leaders in Nigeria presently what we have are corrupt leaching looters.
If the purpose is about earning foreign currencies then no need to travel overseas or japa as it's termed rather just join us that are online earners/remote workers howbeit if it's about other reasons then safe journey.

Funny enough, if there is a free flight to UK this week, Nigeria will almost be empty.

People are going through hell in their own country, they would prefer a place they can earn even if it takes them to work assiduously.

Seeing an old man gathering woods and sands from flood just to feed tells you how worst things are presently.

At times I said I'm broke, but received some SOS messages from married people who just need to put food on the table for the night even though the next day wasn't sure. I have to empty my account most times for those in dire need. Someone close to me committed suicide despite the little help we could gather for him financially.

Nigeria , Nigeria, Nigeria my dear country, you will one day be healed from this mess you are.
We still trust for a better day someday.

Yes, you could be right in some of your reasons. But there are many very important reasons for someone to 'Japa' and ready to be third class citizen and live a decent life where everybody's almost have equal right to breath. It is not always about money why people 'Japa' but to live in a country where things are working. A place you can have access to good medical facilities. A million in Nigeria can become a poor man within in tingle of an eye if he /she is attack with an ailment that is million naira salary or business can accommodate. A case question is Mr IBU., that people are trying to raise money for his medical bills. Thank God, he is known , that was the reasons people are offering helps. There are many other reasons , is it the power problem, in security etc. Please go and shine your eyes and do not be deceived. If I have the opportunity , I will 'JAPA' , i don't mind to become for fourth class citizen so far i can work legally and put food on my table.

There is still a lot of job openings in the social care sector here in the UK, especially working with children and young persons though the recruitment process is very detailed with firms that know their onions.
This is the kind of jobs they employ an African to do.

Have you ever travelled out of Nigeria in your entire life?
Medical care in Nigeria is very very cheap compared to the UK and, US and Canada. The difference is health insurance those ones have.
The cost of an ambulance ride in the UK will do CS birth for 4 women in Naija.
Or have you factored the waiting time before you can see a GP in the UK?
