I didn't attribute their actions to any causes. I was only being funny with the usual joke. You could see that I asked what people called the funny words?

You're not even getting the joke. Of course Their deportation was because of their actions. I was only being funny with the usual meaningless joke while calling out their stupidity of how they constantly attacked their sponsor who did nothing to them but helped them yet they expected the sponsor to continue to sponsor them while they continued to attack the sponsor unwarranted.

Quite simple tbh... Oga OPM suddenly couldn't keep up with the cost of sponsoring them in Europe, so he reached out to them to start packing their bags to return home with the promise to continue their sponsorship in Nigerian schools.

What he didn't bargain for was what followed: the insults, accusations of abandonment, clout-chasing at his detriment, etc.

The idiots finally outdid themselves by severing the battered relationship and burning what was left of the bridge by going online to distance themselves from the cleric... The man must have heaved a sigh of relief and moved on.

The young men probably overestimated their social media pull, influence, and relevance (Call it what you like) and thought they could make enough money to sustain themselves over there... What a JOKE!


It's the end of the road... They should repatriate them. Let them resume dancing in the streets of Lagos... It's not like those thick skulls were ever going to retain any form of education in a tertiary institution.

Their stupid actions began when he abruptly cancelled the overseas scholarship for them. Who after starting studies abroad will be happy to relocate back to Nigeria to restart again?
Remember the abroad study was all his idea not theirs.

The whole thing was bs from the start. A social media stunt. In less than a month these two guys had university admission in Cyprus? How?

If those guys were women the moment I heard scholarship in an European back water I would immediately have thought of packaged sex trafficking.

Whatever it is the guy planned for them it definitely was not an academic scholarship. I am sure they they knew this and played along. Our case is different.

Opportunity comes but once.
Most people get an opportunity on a platter, miss the same and start complaining about village people.
The man is not a member of their families, even though he might have decided to help them for his own personal gratification. If they were wise, they could have used the opportunity wisely. I recall the man even promised to send them to a neighbouring country to pursue their education which they declined.
You can imagine, with the fall of the Naira, if one stays in a country where he is being paid in francs CFA is big money now.
They have missed, the opportunity for self-development which would have guaranteed their meal ticket for life, a platform to maintain a good image as ambassadors of that ministry, opportunity to also help and give back to their relatives
It is sad and shameful!
