The USSR's multiple rocket launchers that changed the war in the USSR's favor were not accurate during WW2, but it sent thousands of German soldiers to hospitals due to panic attacks, it destroyed all their hideouts.

USA dropped bombs anyhow in WW2, Vietnam, and NK, Precise weapons are kept to hit a particular thing but in all-out war, drop as much as you can to make your enemy fear you and run away.

The S-400 is not invincible, but we know this because it's been battle-tested against a well-funded and US-backed army. The patriot missile that you are talking about is the most useless of the bunch. They have faced several battles with very poor results. I think Saudi Arabia is the biggest victim of that expensive scam

Most of its components being from the West (I'm not sure this is even true) wouldn't necessarily make it cheaper. Don't forget that it's not just the S-400. Almost every Russian or Chinese weapon is cheaper than an American weapon of the same class. Like I said, this doesn't apply to weapons alone. It's just how their economy is structured. It's for this same reason that American retirees move to the Caribbean to enjoy their wealth.

Even Americans admit that Russians make better rocket engines. It's not even debatable

USA military equipments are overpriced and even USA government always said it, because USA military equiments are built by private contractors too many middlemen on the military deals unlike China and Russia military equiments are mostly built in their defense ministry.

USA most expensive drones have been shotdown or hacked by Iran, as Iran of all country, the country under massive sanctions.

The most expensive jet which is F35, have lost over 10 without being at war, Japan, USA and Israeli military have grounded F35 many times, and Canada refused to buy the F35 for the same reason for years until this year after many secrets talked between USA and Canada, that Canada said the will buy F35.

You are deliberately avoiding the issue of wages and general price levels but let's go like that. The most important thing is that you admitted that Western products are not more expensive solely because of quality. Now add in the fact that USA spends a lot of money on too many bases, too many aircraft carriers, too many unnecessary conflicts, too many parasitic allies, and you'll see why even a trillion dollars wouldn't do for USA as much as one would expect.
