milroz: The SOP you submitted during your admission process may not serve the exact purpose for an immigration application. Its better off that you should revamp the letter so as to cover the important clauses such as : Why Canada and not Nigeria, The financial sponsor for your studies, family ties back home, future goals after studies etc. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Kaysher: Instead of worrying about the institution, focus on convincing the officer that you're a genuine candidate with your impressive work experience and addressing your study gaps. Also, include a well-crafted explanation letter to support your study visa request. It will end in praise |

Good day house. I have a running issue with vfs abuja for over a month now. They have no clue where my passport is, it was delivered to them by UPS on the 18th of September, till date they have no clue and record. I made efforts to go make a complain in person and gave my name and phone number after calls and emails where not doing the needful. I finally got a call from VFS telling me to get a new passport and submit before Friday. My deadline for submission has long passed on the 8th of this month. I have already notified IRCC through webform on the issue I am currently facing but yet to update them about the new passport I hope to get. How do I go about this? |

Frankrobbn1:I graduated with a 3rd class. I'm not sure any school will admit me for a master program just like that. Amen |

ysth: I'm sorry to hear about your misplaced international passport. Don't worry, there's a solution! Since the VFS officials instructed you to get a fresh one for visa issuance, I recommend getting it quickly. Don't be scared, IRCC won't deny your application. Stay positive! ππ It will end in praise 1 Like |

Atturu: How about considering a Post Graduate Certificate program at Conestoga College? They accept students with third-class degrees. Give it a shot and you'll thank me later. And remember, Canadian employers don't discriminate based on credentials as long as it's from a designated learning institution. You'll definitely find a job and thrive! πΌπ It will end in praise 4 Likes |

yansky: It isn't an issue if you arrive Canada the week your school resumes. I see international students even coming into Canada a week after resumption, provided the institution accepts late arrival. I don't see any risk associated with flagpoling at the border. It is a completely legal process to activate a new Canadian immigration status while visiting Canada. On the other hand, why do you want to flagpole while on a student visa? Your spouse can do that freely while he/she is on a visiting visa. It will end in praise |

What were the supporting documents that were submitted with the first application? 1. Here is the link https://gcms-notes.ca/order/ i. https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do (you will need someone in Canada to assist you with it; the person will pay about $5) 2. You don't need to apply for admission again if the first one was deferred 3. Yes, you can still apply as a family 4. Follow up with the admission and come back for the documentation but it is awhole lot darasire: 1 Like |
