Hello, either of you can be the principal applicant, or you can do it as you have suggested if he doesn't have strong home ties. Home ties can be employment, family, and relationships, and properties are also assets. These are the things that can likely compel you to come back home. milroz: |

Hi everyone, please has anyone who got medical request done their medicals this month, and how long did it take before it reflected on your portal as passed? I did mine since 18th of this month and it hasn’t reflected on my portal. How long does it take for IOM to send your result to IRCC? |

JMG12: Alright, let’s say he applies for his own alone using me his spouse as home ties, and his visa gets approved, can he apply for me before he lives the country? Will it be easy for me to get my own visa due to the fact that he used me as home ties? |

I've been crying since cos I was denied visa.. reason; 1: insufficient fund and asset 2; I have significant ties in Canada 3:the purpose of my travel is not consistent with a temporary stay in Canada with the details I provided... My brother in-law who stays in Canada is my sponsor o and I applied with 4.5 million after payment of school fees... It's a 2yrs post baccalaureate program in human resources... Pls, dear gurus, how do I re strategize everything.. |

Anybody experienced application update switching from medical passed to final decision and back to medical passed. Also when the final decision update came in, it still reads “your application is in progress bla bla bla”. Please what could this mean? A bit of a background: Application submitted October 4 Upfront medical October 4 Biometrics October 19 Medical Passed October 23 BVL October 25 Final decision October 25 with no info Back to medical passed October 25 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 8:05pm On Oct 25, 2023 |
I understand your pain; visa refusal can have some temporary effect. 1. Did you say 4.5M? That is insufficient funds. you might want to work on your POF and assets. 2. Your home ties should outweigh the foreign ties you have 3. This might suggest the information you submitted did not indicate your intention to study temporarily in Canada. Emphasize on your return and show sufficient POF to cover your temporary stay, work on the sponsor's aspect Stephanie33: 1 Like |
