Actually some months ago, I bought a piece of land, not my first but the most expensive I've gotten.

I intended holding it for awhile, and selling it when I need money or in the future, although it's in an undeveloped area.

Now this is what paining me now,

I got the land when naira was around 700/800, and the money was in my dollar account. Usdt to be specific.

Now I sold it to buy this land, I'm not sure when it would fully appreciate especially in this hard time,

When I should have left it there and my money would just go 2X especially now dollar is going crazy.

I feel I made a mistake, been trying to put it out of my mind since but it kept coming up, So I decided to share it here.
What do you think?

Lol

Calm down , you didn't make any mistake.

I know wetin dey do you. I felt same way too. Obviously, a huge amount of money left your account.

You're used to seeing a huge amount of money in your account/online wallet everyday. After making physical investment, you're now seeing little amount there. It's not giving you joy cos the sight of money, both physical or electronical has a way of elevating a man's spirit.

Few years from now, you'll back at the land and be proud of what you did today.

Let me tell you something

Time shall come when you will remember this your post and you will laugh out loud and Thank your stars that you bought that land earlier.

I do advise people...there is nothing that can be compared to landed properties.....it appreciates over time.

Just relax....by this time next 2 years or 5 years....you will be surprised that the land have appreciated x2 of what you bought it.

Cheers 🥂 to you oga landlord

Thanks bro

What you said I think is the exact case scenario.
I've gotten some properties before and still had some money on me.

When getting this one, I was a bit uneasy. If it was really the right investment again. And now nearing my red zone (still got some to get by), I felt I made the wrong choice

Especially watching the dollar soar. Thanks man
