You guys are simply formidable. He stays, it is family business. He leaves, he is being unsupportive.

When you don't know anything about a situation, it is best to send your best wishes and let the matter be.

You have no idea what his dealings with God is. And there's no where scriptures states that a son must serve in his father's ministry.

I think he wants to focus mainly on youth ministry. His last crusade in Uniport is a testament.

If you think everyone is equal before God, you haven't read your Bible hard enough. Start with Exodus and see how Moses was treated by God--God clearly made a distinction that Moses was on a different level.

How can all men be equal before God?

God said He will give thousands in exchange for my life. Then, who are the ones He is giving in exchange? Yeah! You got it. We are not the same before Him.

Take for instance:

Some persons earn money and are thinking about how to spend it on themselves. Others use the same salary to promote God's cause in the earth. The gospel is free but not cheap. You really think those invested in promoting God's business on earth are the same with those who don't even know there's such a thing as God's business?

Some people are always asking God to give them bread and butter, others are sowing their time, money, talent, and skill to promote God's cause and you think all men are the same?

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. And one way He rewards men is by honoring them-- you may respect yourself but it takes other men to honor you and only God can make that happen.

Celebrate the lifting of others, for it's only God that lifts men. It not, we would all he making news.

Please,

jpmoriarti:
Shut your trap! Everyone is anointed men of God. That's how y'all have created gods out of these ordinary men. Everyone is equal in the sight of God.
Stop feeling inferior amongst them because they have lied and stolen people's money using God's name. If I abuse them for something they have done wrong, nothing will happen to me or anyone.

Stop being a dunce

Wow! I watched the interview he had on Pastor Steve's programme 'The Bridge' . He mentioned that God had given him a mandate revealed to him in a vision but he didn't give details. Wishing you more of God's Grace to fulfil purpose .

If this is true? It means God really spoke to him. Bishop Oyedepo once said, it's not compulsory for a Son of GOs to take over church that their father founded. Pst Isaac has his own calling and has yielded to God's call. May God's grace be upon him.

Honestly, this is impressive. It really would mean he heard from God. Only such conviction could make a heir leave an already built establishment like that.

Which Bible are you talking about? Absalom wanted everything for himself but he never survived it. God is not an author of confusion. Everything is all about greed, more fame and wealth. Do you think it's not in Christianity. Except he has a divine calling, which if he had, he should have let the church and his dad be aware of it. The true calling of God is not hidden but it's let open for all to see and be aware of.

Dude, was it written in the thread that the Church or the father doesn't know about his exit. Someone says he's not doing that he wants to be on his own, you're talking about Absalom and David. How does that correlate?

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, we Christians condemn the brutality of Isreal against Gaza. No sane Christian should support the bombing of children and innocent women. We nigerian Christians stand with and will continue to pray for the Palestinians. May our Lord Jesus continue to guide and protect the Palestinians against the evil of Israel sad

Are you for real?

But we should support the unprovoked attack on Israel leading to the deaths of over 1410 people including the aged, women and children as well as the kidnapping and torture of 200 civilians?

Instead...

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels." For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you." For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity" Psalm 122

This guy was the Maryland US resident pastor, until he was replaced last year with another Yoruba pastor. The Ghana pastor that was there before, refused to go back to Nigeria after he was replaced with an Igbo pastor and decided to set up his own church. Pastors are moved around like managers in a limited liability company.

grin grin Living Faith church, Christ Embassy are some of the churches I can and will never go to, because they have so much ridiculed Christianity.
Am still wondering how these New Generation pastors mesmerize the ignorant, gullible and foolish church members, such that they maintain a tight grip on their blokos.

I was just about to write this thing you said. The young man is absolutely in order by stepping down from his position in his father's church and launching out on his own. I'm sure he has been well mentored and surely he will have his father's blessing

Truly, ministry ought not to be hereditary, just because you founded a ministry, does not mean your spouse or children must inherit it,doing that will make you have tattoo wearing, dreadlock-wearing, gruffy looking drinkers and party goers and characters who are neck deep in all manner of unrighteousness, and who frankly are in need of salvation, taking over churches founded by their fathers

Must have been told that he is not the heir to the church if his father passes the mantel but his sibling.

He quickly use his present popularity and followership to go open his own church, which would have also grown by the time of transferring LFC to the heir.

If you believe that all men are not equal in the sight of God, contrary to Galatians 3:28, then you're saying exactly that God shows partiality.

Of course, that's the kind of partial God y'all worship in Nigeria.
