Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has sworn-in a new commissioner, Hon Mrs. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche.

Nkemdiche was sworn in as the new Commissioner for Special Duties at the Anambra State Government House, Awka.

She takes over from Hon Sly Ezeokenwa, who was appointed to the position by Soludo but later won his election as the National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

After her swearing in, Soludo charged Nkemdiche to be proactive and think outside the box, to be able to deliver on his promises to Anambra people.

Soludo said: “As you take this solemn oath of office and allegiance, I wish to remind you of the high expectations that come with this role. Ndị Anambra have entrusted you with the responsibility of ensuring that special duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.

“It is no secret that this new position requires utmost dedication and commitment. It is a role that demands a person who can think outside the box, show empathy and establish positive relationships with all stakeholders. I am pleased to say that you possess these and many other qualities that qualify you for this job.

“I want to emphasise that you are joining a team that is determined to transform our state and make the lives of our citizens better. You have my support, and I am confident that you will discharge your duties with unwavering diligence and integrity. I wish you all the best as you embark on this challenging journey. Congratulations once again, Madam Commissioner,” the Governor added.

Soludo is trying, if not UGM and many brainy Anamblarians wet don run comot, Anambla for don surpass Ogún state in IGR!

But they are still competing with Ondo and Akwa Ibon states!

I’m really interested in how Soludo’s government will pan out since his politics is not that of Nnzobu Nnzobu Nnzobu.

Man got paid to snitch on Obi but gradually reality is dawning on him that speech and performance are two different things.

They must think outside the box like Mr Ossy Onuko the MD of Awka City Development Authority ACDA that beat up a GUO driver for overtaking his shabby convoy and Soludo refused to relive him of his job.

The whole country produces nothing.
Only 1 tiny percent is extracting crude oil for exportation that brings back the foreign exchange
The people are either dying of hunger,
lying down on the street, on top of bridge, under bridge..
kidnapping each other for money,
japa-ing with their last remaining money
or doing jobless abero up and down demanding money from motorists.
So think outside the box , how to engage the people before they destroy themselves.

Ironically, commissioners aren't truly allowed to even think on their own. If Local Government Chairmen that is constitutionally supposed to be allowed to function maximally are hindered by governors. It is the commissioners that came in via political largesse that would now have a say?!
I call this cheap talk Mr. Governor.
