You don't understand and cannot interpret data.

Most Igbo are trader and a typical example is Peter Obi who have a choice of establishing a manufacturing company but chose to import consumable goods that Nigeria has a comparative advantage in producing.

A trader like Obi is the reason why our naira is in free fall.

Good but why are the igbos always claiming to be the victim when they o es courting trouble? Plus why did you bring Igbo in this in the first place?

You guys are only killing Nigeria economy thinking you are doing Igbos

Why do igbos think everything is targeting them......are they the only ones that do business?
Do igbos even do business or trading?
Because in real manufacturing business igbos are nowhere to be found......that sector is controlled by Northerners , south westerners and foreign investors.

Seriously, with people reasoning like U, the country can only delve further into obscurity because you people will ignore the main issues and start attacking others. The govt has crude oil but imports Petroleum products, govt officials have hospitals ans schools here in Nigeria but all have their families abroad for both medicals and schooling. The govt has gold and other solid minerals in so many northern states but look the other way as it is pilfered by expatriate construction companies but your problem is a businessman who imports products that he'll struggle to produce here due to the cost of production. The govt just unbanned the import of items like cement, rice and others which were on a forex ban and contributed to the hike in prices of those items

In your mind..... What you do out of those 2X2 kiosks is business....let me burst your bubble...it's trading. Its not different from what the Mallam does in his kiosk or under his umbrella....only that an igboman will install loud speakers and be playing loud music to give a semblance of seriousness..

If there are no goods manufactured.....what will the traders sell?
Manufacturing is important to the economy so also is trading

Many of you are ignorant and lack basic economic knowledge. You have been captured and enslaved by emotion and can never reason beyond your bigotic I Before Others mentality.

What would Obi have done differently in this situation?

Did naira started losing value today?

Is defending naira the best form of financial policy to make naira stable?

Past government of 22 years could not do any of those things you mention buy you heap the blame on a new government of 6month

Alabukun powder is proudly produced in Yorubaland and has been for close to a century.
