AnonPoet: The letter is a pure mockery of the existence of the state of Israel and exposes either the fanatical antisemitic lustre of the Nigerian government or pro Islamic Arab alignment. The letter contains mainly the terms in the draft resolution from the Arab States which were never used by the UN General Assembly. For instance, the UN resolution never mentioned Hamas knowing that recognising Hamas will be a colossal blow to the call for humanitarian truce. The Nigerian State as an afterthought and by that piece of 'reiteration' made attempt to identify with the Arab States. Voting in favour of the UN Resolution, showcases amole support from the most populous African nation and writing this kind of letter is a mess of a diplomatic move. While being careful not to use the term terrorists, I challenge anyone to tell me the status of Hamas in international order, whether law or politics, with their level of armament. No one? Then, asking for a cease fire during an attempt to snuff them out and free 200 Israeli hostages abducted in 'unprovoked' attack is asking the state of Israel to yield to a suicide noose made by Hamas. There are two cardinal factors that hoodwink those that rant about the devastation and if i may say, propagandist display of women and children caught up in a cross fire or shelling from the Israeli state. Under the laws of war (Jus In Bello) there is self defence necessity. While self defence is an inalienable right under the Charter of the UN and under international custom, collateral damage is the indices that factors the Proportionality of force used especially as it pertains to civilian objects. Is the force disproportionate with the level of collateral damage considering the military advantage anticipated in snuffing out Hamas with their weaponry and sophistication enabled by nuclear armed Iran? I saw someone faulting my use of the word 'unprovoked'. The argument being that the state of Israel had illegally occupied the Palestinian territory for years plus other rights violations against the people of Palestine. While the said provocation falls outside Jus In Bello, making it a Jus Ad Bellum, there is a revolving chair doctrine which has tilted towards necessity, immediacy or imminence that should warrant a proportional armed response, which factors never existed when Hamas struck assuming they were legitimately fighting the Palestinian cause. Why then are you faulting the killing of Albaghdadi and the rest by the US drones. Why are you attacking the IPOB group in Nigeria? UN should task the State of Israel on Precision, a cardinal Principle of Jus In Bello and not a cease fire. Nigerian state should stop this hypocrisy and face the reality. 1 Like |

I support Israel against Terrorist Hamas. When Hamas entered Israel and killed over 1000 people this same civilians were jubilating in the street. Let them face whatever consequences their actions brought to them, I have never see any Muslim country condemning Islamic terrorism 2 Likes |

How can any African period support Apartheid?... how can one be so ignorant in this 21st century? If you support Israel in this conflict then you would have supported Apartheid in South Africa .... brand Nelson Mandela a terrorist and justify the killings of Blacks who rose up against the government. For Israeli zombies... chew on these. Massive protest yesterday in NYC .... by a Jewish Organization condemning Israeli attack on Gaza. Almost everyday is a protest here against Israel and they are getting bigger ... and more Whites are involved. Biden is now becoming silent .... his ratings been dropping seriously because of his support of Israel. Is Nelson Mandela a terrorist? ... a terrorist sympathizer? South Africa .... outspoken supporter of Palestine ... and so should be any African country. ... it got why? Tinubu needs to be condemning Israeli actions against the Palestinians. Nigeria and Palestine supported Mandela and the fight against Apartheid in South Africa .... Apartheid that was supported by Israel and the US .... how can Nigeria now not support the Palestinians? 2 Likes

Idaytesj29:is like u tkink am a novice or I hear news from people. It is you dat should not follow propaganda. For you to say hamas is not using civilians as shield. Do u think am just hearing this during this fight. Hamas fighters live among d Palestinians. They live under ground d buildings and tunnels. Why do u think isreal asked the Palestinians to leave d northern part of Gaza and they were been discouraged by d hamas not to leave. If hamas is not living among d civilians, do u think isreali military would not have finished them up since. Don't call dat propaganda to me. |

liasmiram2567:so this your many write up now justify the killing of unarmed civilians women children elderly in an unprovoked manner and even took some of them as hostage even a 9month old baby and those who survive the Holocaust. That is terrorism there is no amount of lengthen write up that can justify that act. Every nation in one way have been colonized in one way or the other they deed not get there freedom through terrorist attack but by peaceful resolution. So nothing u wrote up there justify that Oct 7 attack on Israel. Hamas and Palestine got it all wrong stop painting wrong to look a little good bad na bad and every bad has it own consequences let them enjoy what they brought to themselves. I rest my case |

Putinofrussia:You don't know what you are saying. Can Muslims ever live peacefully with other religion? Don't be deceived by this land issue. This fight is a religion fight. Is happening everywhere including Nigeria. Where ever Muslims are dominated, there can't be peace. Islamic terrorists will exist there. The same is happening in Northern Nigeria where u see d Islamic militant killing d Christians in northern Zaria, benue state and any group who stands against them. They are just using land excuse to deceive us. All d Arab nation hate Isreal and want them destroyed that is d secret. All what u are saying that Isreal do not leave Palestinians alone is u are taking side. Hamas have been finding their trouble all d time. All Palestinians hate Isreal. An average Palestinian is an Islamic terrorist. They hv been deceived dat one day, Isrealis will be destroyed. So because of this, they have been tormenting Isreal. And there is no how Isreal will defend themselves and Palestine will not die. This is d basic truth. All Muslims including you hate Israel. U are among d people celebrating hamas attacks on Isreal d other day. Hamas fires rockets every day into Isreal and u all keep quiet. Hamas takes isrealis hostage and u all quiet. You people support terrorism and when Israel is retaliating,Muslims called this genocide. Did any Arab world condemn hamas when they were digging underground tunnel into Israel? No one did. And u all are saying Isreal does not leave Palestinians alone. Palestine that is 100% better than Nigeria. I saw their hospitals, roads and buildings I said wao. Despite this they are not satisfied. This is about religion not about land. Muslims fanatic cause problem wherever they find themselves. I imagine if Palestine has d kind military strength Isreal has. What do u think they would have done to Isreal. They will do worse and all Muslim will celebrate it. But God doesn't allow that. Islamic terrorist kill people and shout allau akbar. Does dat make sense. Instead of u Muslims to condemn Islamic terrorism in Nigeria. U are crying foul on what is happening in thousand of miles away. Funny things I hear is we Christians are supporting Isreal because we think isreal is a Christian country. Dat Isreal is nate a Christian country and they hate d Christians. So u want us to support d Muslims terrorists killing other religion people around d world. Isrealis no dey find people's trouble. Nah these Islamic terrorists go enter people's territory and start killing innocent people. Women and children. It is happening here in Nigeria and no Muslim condemn this. 2 Likes |
