JPes is making it look like we don't have a GK by sticking with Uzoho. From where I stand. Leye Adebayo should be in that post not Uzoho. SE defence is not as bad as we think. But when the GK conceeds from what should be a routine save, it rubs on d defence as goal conceded. 1 Like |

Super excited for Osimhen. 8th is no small feat for a 1st time nomination. Anyone with Gary Neville kinda of analysis and argument can goan drink Lokoja Garri with Okpa and Salt. This here is Evidence nobody can refute or sneer at. Now i look forward to consolidating it even further with afcon and some more trophies. I know he can do it. I also expect another SE player to join him in top 15 soon. He's paid his dues. The u25 players in the top 10, i expect them to drag the next Balon d'Or. We can now breeef. 2 Likes |

Tella is tailor-made for African football! Strong, rugged and skilled! Always serious when on the pitch! Good addition. CAF should have reverted to 26 not 23. Barring no injury worries these are the 20 players except the goalkeeper going to AFCON. 1) Ajayi, Omeruo, Bassey Aina, Osayi, Bruno, Sanusi (injury concern)/Akpo/Toru/Collins Ndidi, Onyedika, Onyeka, Iwobi Chuks, , Aribo, Simon, Lookman Iheanacho, Awoniyi, Osimhen, and Boniface. If Sanusi is not fit Toru/Akpo/Collins will take his place. The last spot is between Moffi, Musa, Akor and Tella (Depending on his performance in Nov). Paserio is not a fan of Ekong and also do not really fancy Moffi! Musa might just nick it asper Captain things (just like Maguire). 1 Like |

I am delighted the coach of the Super Falcon's coach said what I have been observing since the AFCON 2021/22 qualifications! The officiating was damn porous! The shows the NFF, players and coaches understand what's going on. There is a conspiracy by the South Africans and Moroccans to eliminate us by all means possible from competitions on the continent. We must not just sit and watch, we must take action! 1 Like |

comodo:. Sir, somehow if nff won’t be bold enough to tell Jpajero abi naa jpaseiro to stop using Uzohole, methinks we d fans of the SE need to be vociferous in condemning jpajero stance. Moreover the moment Uzohole is named between the sticks in Nov, fans should quietly protest by unanimously walk out of the stadium then the new fool federation and jpajero will know there is a fire on the roof which they dares not go to sleep with. 3 Likes |

komekn: Chairman, I have seen multiple cases where a player is a Lion in his club and becomes a timid anonymous mouse in the national team. We have been too long in this game to start jumping in excitement over any player we see in Europe. Club football is different from national team football. Let Tella come and play on African soil, with his Nigerian team members against African oppositions before we start any comparison between him and Chukwueze. 1 Like |

Odunayaw:Bro Uzoho matter don tire me Pasiero is just a stiffneck coach that doesn't want to do the right thing. That guy doesn't deserve a call up. A goal keeper playing weekly in the NPFL is better than a goal keeper sitting in the bench in Europe. |

Marjoribanks: So far though too early to call This NFF president is the most docile president I have seen in a while. I am not surprised I have been privileged to relate with some of this npfl guys to be honest some of us here know football more than them.... .what many are concerned about is just getting paid monthly no interest or passion for the national teams. I pray one day we'll have a sport minister or a president that really love football 2 Likes 1 Share |

Starboytwo:fact. However the young man knows what is at stakes. I believe this is a wake up call for him. The fact that he is recongnized and that napoli and italia league board was thought a lesson on who was significant for napoli achievement last season is whole new joy for me. Nothing like emotion or bias, osimhen was denied MVP and king of napoli last season. Is always good to give honour to who deserves it. |

Okay, this is not good. What's going on at Enyimba? 🚨BOMBSHELL: Enyimba’s head coach, Finidi George Fires At Management For AFL Exit “Out of 19 new players that were brought in, I had knowledge of only 4 of them. When I saw the quality of the players that were brought, I called Ekwueme the Sporting Director and asked what the target for the season is, he said it is just to stabilize in the league as the focus is to settle down first” “Ideally, before registering players for any competition, the coaches must be consulted to submit the list. But that wasn’t the case here. For whatever flimsy reason, we were not consulted and they did the registration themselves. As a result, some of the players we would have needed were not registered. It was much later that the sporting director just sent us the list of players that they had already registered. “After the first leg, they dropped some players from travelling for the second leg in Casablanca, claiming that they couldn’t get them visas. We had to protest it strongly before it was rectified. We later found out that there was more to it. “Can you imagine that we went for such a game without the goalkeeping and fitness coaches? Myself and Yema were the only coaches that travelled for that game. That is very strange to me. “Everyone has to put the interest of the club first because until this is done, we would only be joking.” “We arrived Uyo on October 17 with the idea to have as many training sessions as possible on the grass pitch in Uyo since we are more used to our synthetic pitch. But we couldn’t really achieve that because the management failed to make the right arrangements with the stadium authorities. As a result, we improvised and had one of our training sessions at a primary school, while another training session was cut short because of the same poor arrangements. “In fact, we played a team that was more used to the playing surface than us, the home team. It was obvious that we were at a disadvantage as a team used to artificial pitches and this really affected us. “Also, we had only three trainings with the AFL match ball, meanwhile, our opponents had enough time to get used to it. That was why you could see my players struggling with their control, passing and shooting.” “It is sad to see such statements being released when all hands should be on deck and things should be more organized to enable a positive environment for all. Yes, there have been issues, but I remained patient because I believed that we could harmonise efforts and work things out; but here we are. “The issue with the team is obvious, and it has nothing to do with the coaches. The same coaches won the league with less goals conceded and highest goal scored. We won the best Super 6 ever organized, scored the highest and conceded the least number of goals,” Finidi George told selected journalists in an exclusive interview. #NPFL24 Source: @Mike_ThePundit (One of the Journos who cover the NPFL). 3 Likes |

Icon4s: Give me one example not two . The basis for national team selection has always been outstanding consistent top level performance in your club and league. With a proviso for quality of club and league, for instance, a bench warmer in Real Madrid can still be an outstanding player. |
