I don't know how easy or how soon it will be for her to send invite for us to join her.
How's life in the UK with a single mum?

Who have passed through this situation and how did you people pull through

If this is true

She hasn't gotten a job yet

Delay her going to the UK
Or don't go at all

Restrategize on how you guys move
If she indeed got the job

She can get another later

If not,
You go suffer beyond what you currently understand

You are the abnormal. He can take care of his baby, if he couldn't he should have remained a bachelor

Did you say 5months old?
How do you plan to take care of a 5month old baby?
I will advise you to do whatever it takes to go along with her and the baby.
Or better still let her go with the baby as long as she's not working in London, y'all can survive in the Uk

How do babies who lost their mom during childe birth survive without a mom ?

Thank you o. We have 5% of responsible men worldwide. I hv seen many men took care of their children successfully after divorce or death. Example is mohbads father

Why and how has he lost her?

As regards relocating your wife first before you do, that is a wise decision for many reasons including economic, as far as you both have weighed every option to come to such agreement.

The only tricky part here is the 5 month old baby to be left with you. That child really needs all the warmth, affection and nutrients for growth at this stage, and I hope the mother as well is prepared for all the consistent emotional blows before she is reunited with her son.

However, for her to start a new life abroad, deliver on her employer's expectation, and adjust to the new culture, people and environment, She need a good deal of space, time, observation and interactions which nursing an infant may inhibit.
Moreso, coming ahead will help handle the preliminary bottlenecks which will benefit you all in having a better start up when you finally join her.
Except you can raise all the money to move you all at once, My advice is that you get her mom or aunty or any experienced mother that you both are is comfortable with to help nurse the baby.

Also, set a target date not too Long to have you guys join her and start working towards it now or as soon as she gets there

Op, Take this advise. You will be glad you did.
It will be challenging, obviously, but you will NOT regret it.

My younger one had a similar experience. His wife left for UK having secured a nursing job, leaving him and their little daughter behind.

He just joined her now and the family is together again after about 5 months.

Get a relation to assist you in caring for your baby. It'll be tough n your wife too, n I bet she'll do all within her power to see you all together again as a family.

Scam.

As I do not know exactly what stage your application is and your post doesn't seem to suggest much. Please be very careful.

If your wife has got a genuine work visa, that should easily include you and the child without stressing it. I believe you are not being told to call/email another team to take a 'paramedic' test, and those ones are telling you that you would have to pay for an official exam?

Be very careful.

If genuine, please borrow money and shut down and move to the UK together. It won't be easy at first but once you get working, repaying Naija loans won't be hard with the currency rate now. + It's best to be a couple in the UK.

Again, be very careful.

I know many people who have done this, even close relatives. I am typing from the UK and this is very much things people do. Support your wife as much as can, in few months you will be there with her. It is all for the betterment of your family. If you can borrow money or financially stable, you can join her immediately as she travels.

Don't just sit there waiting with so much expectations till that time comes. You will weary out quickly and get tired. Engage yourself with something meaningful and time consuming to get your mind off it. and before you know it time will fly by and you'll be on your way to joining her.

If you set your mind on it., the wait will be a long one.

Mindlog:

She should go ALONE, you should get your female relatives or hers to assist in childcare and you should also learn the basics of childcare because you will be 100% involved with taking care of your child here in the UK.

Then after about 6 months, arrangements to join her can start.

Arriving, she should rent a furnished room in a shared house that is bills inclusive. Alongside her sponsored job, she should get a 20hrs per week part time job as allowed by the visa and after about 4 months, she should start looking for a 2 bedroom flat in preparation for the arrival of you and the baby, getting a house for a family is not a day's job.

When you and the baby come over, you will be taking care of the baby when she is at work and you can only go to work when she is off work, this means you will work with her work rota.

Basically you are now the wife and she is the husband.
