Djkayzee231: My exact thought when I read it first!! From MY EXPERIENCE as a partner; if you are PAYING REGULARLY and as at WHEN DUE; relationship is easy to maintained..Na money partner want, once you dey pay no wahala.. The truth is, your relationship with your partner don dey get k-leg before the issue of the engine came up...What he did was actually what he's been planning to do and the opportunity present itself, he grabbed it..I will do the same.. Three years ago, I collected a Corolla from my driver, I simply told him that I needed to use the car for an event for the weekend, he brought the car on a Saturday and I sold it on Monday!! Relationship end!!! To be frank, why I am not absolving some partner, I honestly do not see any reason why a driver should not be ABLE TO PAY 35K per week, EASILY...I make average of 12-15k driving to island from mainland Monday to Friday and I still do my 8 to 5pm work..I can easily take a HP and I will COMPLETE IT without default, once the car is in good shape...Some of you just hate to pay what you owe...My former driver confided in someone that he doesn't know what his partner (ME) dey take money do, according to him, am working, my wife is working, I have a small family and I don't have bukata, unlike him with so many responsibility...Let us be responsible with our obligation.. 8 Likes |

Welz:it seems I would registered on Uber, are there trips on Ubers. Is it profitable driving on uber Bolt blocked my account because of low acceptance rate. How person acceptance rate no go come down when I am getting long distance request of 4km to 20km and above. I have rida I have Indrive I need either Bolt or Uber for Christmas season. . 2 Likes |

dapotemi: I have a guy on our group that finished HP in18 months.. But it wasn't strictly via Bolt,/Uber.. He got a lot of offlines travelling..interstate.. There was a particular one he got to Abuja to and fro around 200k. When fuel was still 460 +.. and numerous offers like that. The earnings from the offline travels made bulk majority of the repayment plan. From my observation, the longer the HP tenor, the less likely the chances of completing the payment. 3 Likes |

GeneralZodd:uber is far from perfect, some days you will go out and come back vexed and angry..other days you will smile. their current promotion of 11,500 per day(after 15 trips) is what is still keeping me there. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Welz: Wow! They use to be number one, Bolt overtook them, now Indrive is the rave of the moment. Currently Indrive has more drivers than Bolt and Uber. Every blocked Bolt drivers has ported to Indrive, if you ask majority of them, they will tell you Indrive is best thing to ever happen to them, because of 10% commission and freedom to choose their trips. But their fare is what I don't like, it's very low except when there is surge on bolt. As for Uber, from what you just said I think half bread is better than none. I will register with them this week. A friend of mine told me Uber has the best surge. Christmas season is around, there would be scarcity of ride. Demand will be very high. No matter how imperfect Uber is, I will still make some good cash 1 Like |

northbird: Flesh and blood did not reveal this to u! The earlier u complete it d better. But most drivers feel they are doing the Partner a favour if they finish paying ontime so dey will drag it till d last day and even add extra weeks as punishment for the partner that added money ontop HP. 1 Like |

Omoapena:There are no much cars like before. Fuel subsidy removal is affecting the business. Alot of partner has withdrawn their cars from the platform as drivers are not meeting up with weekly rental, and even the weekly rental of 30k or 35k didn't increase in this current inflation. No reasonable thinking partner will rent his car out for such amount weekly especially if the car is Tokunbo. Even naija used don cost. Car owner drivers and higher purchase drivers are the only ones on the road now. I guess thats the reason for Long distance pick up. They need to work on that long pick up or else they will end up blocking all their drivers, cos no driver likes long distance pick up. 6 Likes |

But guys for group don dey mobilise for the guy sha. say ,they will make sure he finishes the payments.. HP is tough, i must confess. Omoapena:. Gbese for the rider . But really bolt don't read like before again in traffic, they just top up the actual fare with small change when there is traffic. Their prices are more fixed than dynamic nowadays. Work is sweet when road free. |
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Omoapena(m): 7:41pm On Nov 01, 2023 |
GeneralZodd: Yeah I observed that too, if the estimate is between 8k to 10k for the rider and you are in traffic for hours, the money they will ask you to collect from the rider will be that 10k while they add the extra as bonus for the hours spent in traffic.... I'm porting to Uber by next month 1 Like |

northbird: I cannot over emphasize the importance of having a support system. When u tell people do Ajo, or join cooperative they will say "I can save my money by myself" or "I no want make person chop my money" Nothing good comes easily in life. It is our lives choices, plans and strategy that makes it look easy. 7 Likes |
