Just that bamboo doesn't have the stock, 10k units alone am off us stock for 1 Month when am done pulling my loot out to MF then I will be back, hope I jam such stock on bamboo. (Korro) (Nasdaq: KRRO), a biopharmaceutical company with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize a new class of genetic medicines based on editing RNA, enabling treatment of both rare and highly prevalent diseases, today announced the completion of the previously announced business combination between Frequency Therapeutics, Inc. Immediately prior to the merger, Korro completed the previously announced $117 million private placement co-led by Surveyor Capital (a Citadel company) and Cormorant Asset Management with participation from Eventide Asset Management, Atlas Venture, NEA, Invus, Point72, Platanus, Qiming Venture Partners USA, MP Healthcare Venture Management, Verition Fund Management, Monashee Investment Management, Sixty Degree Capital and additional investors. Following consummation of the transactions, Korro’s cash, cash equivalents and investments of approximately $170 million, after transaction expenses, are expected to fund operations and multiple potentially value-creating milestones into 2026, including advancing its lead product candidate in AATD through a clinical milestone, progression of additional product candidates from the pipeline into the clinic, and demonstrating applicability of the RNA editing platform into several additional tissue types.

Korro’s RNA editing approach involves co-opting ADAR, an endogenous editing system, via engineered oligonucleotides to introduce precise edits to RNA. Korro’s proprietary platform enables the iterative optimization of the editing efficiency of its product candidates using a combination of ADAR biology, chemistry and machine learning expertise. Using this approach, Korro can edit the transcriptome with high efficiency and specificity. Korro’s OPERA platform enables a broad pursuit of indications with an initial focus on six potential programs, all wholly owned, that either correct the mutation or create de novo protein variants that can address the disease.

Korro's lead program in AATD has demonstrated an increase of normal A1AT protein up to 85% of total A1AT protein in circulation in in vivo preclinical studies, which has the potential of disease-modifying effects and providing a differentiated therapeutic option.

Key milestones for the lead program include:

Nomination of a development candidate for its AATD program in late 2023

Submission of a regulatory filing in the second half of 2024

The combined company will be headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and will be led by Ram Aiyar, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Korro Bio and other members of the Korro Bio management team. I CANNOT SEE ANY LOCAL MARKET THAT CAN BEAT THIS GLOBAL STOCK MARKET!!!
With the numbers of equities/ETF available (over 8,000 to 12,000), you have so many stocks to chose from.

Also, the size of stocks also present some challenges, as you will need some form of technology/screener to know which one will be profitable. So for those who want to learn with their money and on their own, I wish the Goodluck.

For today we look forward to Powell's speech about one hour after market opening and another FED speaker again towrda market closing. If Powell's speach doesn't bring down the market (I doubt if it would, Powell has already had his day last Wednesday), this will be a big bosser to the bulls. We fold our hands to see.

For whoever cares, again we added another bitcoin related stock yesterday (HUT).

I envisage the time is coming when more people will rush into the Global stock market!!! Looking at the premarket, Bitcoin stocks will do well today.

Just like the Chinese use to name every year we too can name the day, we will call today or this week "THE WEEK OF THE BITCOIN STOCKS"

If we are wondering, how is it that we are in the market nearly everyday!!! Our strategy is to ensure we have some stocks that serves as backups or our defence line (these are the dividend paying stocks). So even if I am not putting fresh funds into the market, I should have inflows from my dividends and this I can invest as soon as they are paid.

Chaka has made this strategy to be possible, such that if I receive $0.02, I can use it and my commission is still limited to 1.5% per trade (quite high, but looking at the Nigeria environment, it should be manageable or we can say it is a fair deal, although not the best)

I am busy with other things, but if no volunteer, I may give a summary. With what I saw, what POWEL said must be well for stock, unemployment for the week looks higher than expected, probably this may have tied Powell's hand on rate hikes. We see later.

Who is trading/investing in any of GOOGL or AMD? My BE are 120 and 86.86 respectively, and I'm considering selling because there might be more pullbacks in the near future that would allow me buy back lower. I'll appreciate any thoughts or advice. I'm holding these ones for:

1. The sake of a likely AI bubble in the market which might mimick the historical dotcom bubble. (Is it also possible that AMD pulls an NVIDIA stunt in a near term?)

2. Long term prospects with regards cloud, AI, exponential developments/expansion in this sector, etc. for both growth and value sake.

Just think of AI as the development of social media, see now social media has now become: medium of obtaining justice (Mohbad case). a very useful tool on recovering debt from reactant debtors especially if it is a company (if ant company is owing you and they have a web presence, just joking the it group and post their, I am sure they will beg you that they will pay, I have experienced this), AI can replace some professions and render some professions useless (who will need Customer service staff ater AI is fully developed, few, Customer service staff have to become real marketers or upgrade to become AI operators themselves) etc.

So conclusion. Investment in AI is not likely to go wrong, as long as you buy strong companies.

MARKET IS IN KILLER MODE AT A POINT WHERE BULL OR BEARS CAN WIN ANYDAY
Market was bullish this week Friday, but please do not start jumping up that bulls are back!!! Monday and early Tuesday, the bear is likely to be back strongly and from late Tuesday onwards, the bull have to take over all things beign equal.

I agree with you 100%. The major hurdle when keeping stocks like these long term is that they make many circles (AMD $90-$120, GOOGL $115-135) before a general bull (market derepression to all-time high stock prices) happens. For long termers, it feels like a strategy that gets one shortchanged especially when you consider the fact that such companies have sacrificed investors' cash flow (through dividends, bonuses, etc.) for growth. Traders on the other hand are making money by buying and selling at appropriate junctions in the cycle. When the craze about AI starts reflecting in stock prices, cash flow will still be zero, and the only way to make money will be to sell, or one would again lose the paper gains. Ironically, a tested and proven winning strategy (preached by successful investors and authors) is to hold for as long as one can. My thoughts now are:

1. Unless one is a big moneybag in this market, one would have to choose between cash flow or growth.

2. An AI bubble might happen soon or late, and positioning well now might be the best way to avoid buying overpriced stocks on news that were once rumors.

I have sold at 34-37$ leaving 9units left. Have removed my Capital leaving the gain then when the pay the CVR I will add it to my trading account.

Many energy stocks are in strong support zone. Also URANIUM stocks are back on stream. Today I bought UEC

30 minutes after market opening tommorow, OCTOBER CPI report would be out. Initially, response would be negative no matter the outcome. However, if the report is favorable (inflation is lower than Forcast, then expect the bulls to take over the market for the medium term).
