Hello guys, Please I am currently on a student visa but I am done with my program already. I want to know i can open a business account and receive payment via umbrella system of payment as a student that has completed his studies but still on a student visa. Has anyone done this before?? Please I’d appreciate your feedback. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 8:00pm On Nov 02, 2023 |
Kunleop:it won’t be. Someone got denied for stating the same amount even though they were been fully sponsored. The rejection letter was posted on this thread a few weeks agao. If she is fully sponsored you should put £1 . |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Peachesarewhite: 9:59pm On Nov 02, 2023 |
giselle237: When I applied though, I stated the total amount for the trip as amount I was planning to spend personally and my visa was granted. (Trip is Fully sponsored) So, there may be other things they consider to be able to make a decision. |

. I have been a silent reader and only got to know about this forum after my second UK visitors visa application last year June. I have been reading and following the thread since last year June. I just applied for my visitors visa didn’t use an agent this time and in less than 10 days it was approved and I have collected my visa today. Thanks Giselle and everyone who inputs; it really helped me. I was refused my first UK visa in 2018 and another in 2022. For unexplained large deposit These are the documents I submitted on this application 1. I submitted 8 months salary account 2. I submitted 8 months savings account where my disposable income was being saved consistently for 8 months 3. 8 months monthly payslip 4. Invitation letter from my sister with BRP , family pictures showing relationship to my sister 5. I had travelled to Dubai twice and Singapore once . Put pictures when I was there 6. Marriage certificate with wedding pictures 7. Employment letter and introduction letter , office ID card 8. Daughters birth certificate 9. Consent letter from father to travel with daughter 10. Land document In the POF I included and explained anything I suspected would raise an eyebrow. I also made sure no money entered my account asides salary throughout that 8 months. Any money I wanted to receive would go to another account , so the account is as clean and straightforward. In all it is God….. because thank God an unstable caseworker didn’t work on my file. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Peachesarewhite:Ofcourse there maybe other things but the refusal letter clearly stated this as reason for refusal. Sayin the sponsored person had no funds.. the sponsored person had entered the sum twice. When refusal letters are presented it is always better to air on the side of caution which is simply what I have told the poster. 1 Like |

Hello You are still bound by the conditions of your study visa despite finishing your studies and part of it includes not being self employed Cheers bamigboye27: |

giselle237: While filling my form last year 2022,it was a fully Sponsored trip with 1,200 Pounds and it was also filled that I will personally be spending 1,200 Pounds for the trip, definitely making it 2,400. Please if this is wrong,I need direction my gurus. I have wanted to ask this same question if it is a fully Sponsored trip, can the applicant just add like 400k naira as amount he intends to spend in addition to the sponsorship fund. For Example due to the current rate,if my Employer is Fully Sponsoring with 2.6m naira, can the applicant add 400 k naira as his personal spending budget. I am cleared about the several deposits with a proof of Fund Source. I need clarification on the issue of this Sponsorship and how to fill it right,to avoid issues from the case workers. I dropped my last year refusal above. Thanks and God Bless |

tony2478:If it’s truly your employer sponsoring then I see no reason why you have to do collaboration on the finances . Sir, Anyway from day 1, I have not been sold on the story you telling so try convincing yourself first then the ECO second before us on nairaland. We come third. |

I got my UK 6 month visit visa but didn't get to use it. Instead of going to UK i went to France. I want to reapply but some things are missing in my documents. 1. I cant use my company account bcoz i stopped banking with my previous banker. My new account company account is barely 2 months old. 2. Money in my Naira savings account is like 10times lower than what i presented back then though i have a dorm account that can close up that gap but i dont know if dorm accounts are acceptable. Also, am i eligible for 2 years ? @cashmadam, @giselle237 |

giselle237: Good morning Giselle237 and all the wonderful people in this group. Please I have a pressing challenge. I am a 4th year student applying for visitors visa, fully funded by my sister. I have evidence of school registration (school admission letter, acceptance letter, school IDs, letter from HOD confirming my studentship). The problem is my school results. My grades are poor and I have lots of awaiting result. And current GP is poor. I was wondering if I need to add my school result as evidence of studentship or is what I already have enough? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 8:44am On Nov 04, 2023 |
Simple60:The school results is not for them to be assessing your grades but for them to know you are actually in school. Letters alone can not substantiate this part. You don’t have to add all the results but it would help to show you are CURRENTLY in school and progressing. 1. Add pictures of you in school, locate where the statues showing your school name is located and take pictures infront of them. 2. Add pictures of you with colleagues and classmates that are taken in school. Not only from this year but when you started 3. Are you a member of any leadership or student boards? Add those letters. 4. Have you been paying any levies or fees that has your name addressed to the school. For every different year. It doesn’t matter if it is 500 naira, add it as it is a tie to the school. 5. Matriculation pictures? Add them 6. Write a cover letter and one of your bullet points should be how you have progressed academically this far and it would be stupid of you to throw away say 3 or 4 years of study to come and live illegally in the UK. If you have enough of the above then you can skip very few of your report sheets with bad grades. Pls also try to do better academically because I can see it is stressing you for others to see such results. This shows insight and possibilities of you to improve. Goodluck 2 Likes |
