Today, I joined Chief @valentineozigbo and my school mate at Christ The King College, Onitsha, Sir Francis Okey Anyakwo, to pay last respects to their father-in-law, Elder John Ogbonnaya Agbaeze, who was laid to rest at Item Community, at Bende Local Government Area of Abia State. May God Almighty who called him home grant him eternal rest, and grant his family, and all of us who mourn him, the fortitude to bear his loss.

Thereafter, I attended the Public Presentation of the book - Policing The Nigeria Police, in Lagos, written by Chief Simon Okeke, Former Chairman, Nigeria Police Service Commission. The book launch was chaired by Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Former Secretary General of Commonwealth, with Leader of Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo; Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, General Ike Nwachukwu; Nigeria’s former Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Chief Arthur Mbanefo, among others, as Special Guests of Honour.

The book is a worthy read. I thank the author for his immeasurable contributions to the development of the Police Service Commission and for publishing the book. -PO
