i have never pay tithe before in my life but i do listen to messages on how this is a way of attracting supernatural blessings from God. this year has been very hard on me and i decided to give tithing a chance which as at now i will never stop paying tithe.

i have a problem of having a track record of how much i make weekly and monthly because i am a freelancer so money can come in anytime, anyday.

tithing has helped me reaslise how much of money has been coming my way and how much i make weekly and monthly because once any money comes in now, i will have to jot down the 10% and by sunday i will transfer them to the church account.

Brothers and sisters my october tithe was 24k meaning i made 240k last month.. i am still amazed because i at the end of every month i usually dnt have any money saved in my account but now putting aside 10% of every income has opened my eyes and i just want to thank God for this great revelation.
When you pray do not pray like the pharisee and scribe....lol. keep your tithing information to yourself. It is between you and God. I do not believe in paying tithe because it is not scriptural. If you choose to have a covenant with God to pay 10 percent income that is a vow and completely different from a law. I do no criticize ppl for paying likewise I warn them also not to criticize me. My relationship with God is personal.

I feel this scripture will help those who believe in christian tenets not be dissuaded by negative talks

1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I was expecting a different end to your write up.
If I understood your point right, the only benefit you highlighted here is the fact that tighting has given you an insight about how much you really make in a month. This doesn't translate to you experiencing higher yield post tighting.
You started off like you were going to tell us about one dramatic change about your earnings following adoption of tighting.
In my opinion, you haven't really said Anything worthy of giving what you claimed any consideration, rather you have only succeeded in enriching your pastor at the expenses of your income.

The tithe is to GOD, offerings and givings to service others. Most interesting is if you give GOD what's HIS, HE proves HIMSELF faithful to you. But you must give your heart first to GOD, if not your tithe will be meaningless to HIM

Unfortunately, as against your assertion, HE is not giving his tithe to man but GOD. HE is fulfilling his own side of the bargain. GOD is not man that HE should lie. If the pastor gets wreckless with what is being given, he will answer to GOD.
Righthussle:

This is just funny. You're not only happily enriching another man but also deceiving yourself into thinking it is beneficial to do so.

Tithing opened him up to financial responsibility, he found out the reason he was always making loses. GOD works in different ways; HE said HE will rebuke the devourer. The devourer in this case was his unaccountability.

While GOD may not dump him, if he follows after things, he will not trust GOD and still run into more trouble
Dtruthspeaker:

Truthfully, yes.

People are not taught to fear God and neither do they real eyes that God is greatly greatly to be feared. And that even though He is very patient, He still expects us to do our part in the relationship with Him.

And, He has told us what He expects from us and of us and what will happen if we obey/disobey Him.

So I am just trying to warn him what things he should expect for He is not the first to pay tithes and have a blessing.

We are supposed to go through the eye of a needle so how can anyone expect it to be easy?

So, I am just trying to let him face the plain and hard Truth that he may decide whether he truly wants to follow God or that he is just following God because he wants to prosper where God will definitely dump him even faster than lightning leaving him shocked and pondering what happened just as others before him.

People think that God was joking when He Said "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” Like 9:62

After exploiting others to make gains, you take 10% of it to the Pastor who buys private jets with it while members of the congregation suffer abject poverty!
This is what the musician, Max Romeo called in his song, Stealing in the name if jah.

The crux of religiosity is as Jesus summarised it, "Do unto others what you would want done unto you!"

It just made you more calculative and wasteful with your money. You can put that ten percent away in a one-year fixed savings account, and at the end of the year, you can invest it in something tangible. Even if it means buying good and unadulterated food for yourself,

Ot will shock you to know Elon tithes. He sure won't make noise about it, but follow his family tradition. See, these things don't really answer to religious expressions. They're normal ways of life that needs no announcing like we do in this side of the world.

Who does Elon Musk pay tithes to? Or Gates? Or Buffett? In fact, in the top 10 richest Nigerians, how many of them are Christians, never mind tithe payers.

It's not about rewarding people. Se, paying your tithe without giving GOD your life first is a total waste, and will amount to nothing.

Stop shifting the goal post. We are talking about your god rewarding tithers with wealth, and nothing else

Gates pays tithe ooo, big time, he's a Jew and the Jews practice tithing systematically without noice. It's a normal way of life for them.
You shifted the post saying "Matter of fact I loaned my tithing bro money last week.
Who does Elon Musk pay tithes to? Or Gates? Or Buffett?" Are these about God rewarding tiithers? No.

Thus, let us all reap whatsoever we sow. No one asked you to tithe.

Very wrong,The United States is the country with the most billionaires, with a total of 724 billionaires. China is the country with the second-highest number of billionaires, with 698 individuals.

Paying tithes does not absolve you from failure if your wreckless. Like the normal sowing of seeds, you don't show useless, spoilt and bad seeds and expect a miracle. Neither do you sow good seeds and refuse to attend to your seeds to care for them and expect a miracle. Tithing or not tithing, responsibility is key.
Skyview01:

So the GOD that created heaven and earth is the one that you think your tithe and offerings are going to?

Sorry to say that is not true. Your tithes and offerings are going to Daddy G O who has started a church and wants to use your monies to maintain the earthly organisation that he has set up for himself.

Also, your tithes don't ensure blessings, your hard work does as well as an element of being in the right place at the right time.

You want to appreciate God's blessings in your life, pray to him to thank him for them. Pray anywhere, as you are walking on the street, as you are driving your car.

Do you doubt GOD or question HIS authority? How can you give to someone you don't love?

Malachi 3:10
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in MY house, And try ME now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

It's either HE is a joker, or HE means what's HE is saying. But HE is only talking to HIS Children, HIS family not everybody.

If you don't believe in tithes, that's ok, you don't need to practice what you don't believe in.
