“I have been through difficult times, If you score a lot, everyone is happy. If you don't score, it's more difficult, you swallow criticism, you barely get playing minutes and you're hardly allowed to start a match. That's difficult. “I don't feel like myself anymore,”

Orban continued. “Sitting on the bench, playing for ten minutes... What can I teach the club or team? I haven't spoken to the coach yet. That's not necessary either. All I can say is that I will remain a professional and will always commit myself, whether I can play for five or ten minutes, it doesn't matter. I just need trust. The coach decided that I could come to Ghent, he gave me confidence. I am not a player who gains confidence when he comes on. I am a player who starts and must be able to grow in a match. A club cannot destroy my career. I keep working. If it doesn't work here, go somewhere else…

The coach decides who plays. I certainly respect our coach, he is a top coach. He knows what he's doing. I still trust him. The club remains the most important thing, the team is above everything. Even if I don't play, if the team wins, that's what counts.”

Here we go!
Voting of Members of the Nomination Committee
Gentlemen and ladies of the thread, it is time for us to vote for those who will stand as representatives of this thread and partake in the selection of award categories and award nominees.
This year, the nomination committee will be made up of at least 7 members: myself, icon4s who pioneered the award will continue as an honorary member of the committee and at least 5 monikers from this thread.
Every member of this thread is eligible to vote and be voted for. But let's keep in mind that this isn't a popularity contest. Vote for those you believe have the knowledge and passion for Nigerian football.
Here's the rule for voting:
1) You're to vote for 5 monikers from this thread to join the committee;
2) Vote the monikers in order of preference, from top to bottom;
3) Points will be awarded to each moniker you vote for. Your first nominee gets 5 point, the second gets 4 points, the third gets 3 points, fourth gets 2 points and fifth gets 1 point.
4) At the end of the voting process, the five monikers with the most points will join the committee;
5) In the event that two or more monikers are tied on points, they will all be added to the committee, as the goal is to have as many monikers to contribute to the process.
6) You're allowed to nominate yourself 😉

Voting closes on Wednesday, November 8th 2023, 10pm Nigerian time.

Thank you.

Una good morning o.

Sometimes I no Dey understand…na so we talk am,Chuckwueze skill make we think he better pass Saka but it’s glaring now,Eze we thought we don’t need him but would have been a great addition,I Dey hear wetin Lesley Ugochucwu go bring,now Michael Folorunsho..oh Akinsanmiro and Eletu should continue developing instead of capping them now and see what future holds.

Apart from RB and CF positions which I think we are secured,other positions are opening,good player doing it week in week out deserves eagles call up,sincerely I don’t mind having Isaac Success back

João Félix Sequeira who couldn't get out the starting block at Chelsea is doing a lot better in Barcelona.

A warning to those who think 🤔 that all players can adapt to any league or playing system of a CLUB.

Particularly where V.O. is concerned, he will leave but he has to perform, adapt,create new skill sets,be mentally resilient exponentially this season otherwise his value will go down as rapidly as it went up.

hmmm. Interesting

Sir, Akinsanmiro and Eletu are more realistic but their time will come. Folorunsho and Ugochukwu have identified with Italy and France respectively. Remember we can only take 23 players to a tournament and field 11 at a time.

Egbon, Isaac Success is good in his own right but only u said we are not lacking CFs on this same post. So what role do you want him to play na?

Am sorry but baring injuries, the current Spurs might be making Ndidi a squad player not necessarily in the first 11. Bissouma and Sarr have been spectacular. Those 2 guys have confined Hojberg to the bench permanently which may be making Hojberg leave and Ndidi considered to replace Hojberg. Those are my thoughts, most coaches won't change a winning team. The midfield trio of Bissouma, Sarr and Maddison has worked perfectly for Spurs.

I don’t really see Isaac Success as CF cuz his goal ratio is abysmal,just 3 goals for Udinese in 2 seasons and yet to score ongoing season but a very good option behind CF.Right now Iheanacho,not even Boniface behind our CF is working,though am not seeing him in eagles for Afcon just my opinion.
