This reminded me of my mechanic. The last time I was there if u see the way he was vibrating ehn; he nearly change am for his colleague at the workshop who is an agabdorian and was gaslighting him. He was cussing Tinubu and nearly cuss his colleague join because since the whole subsidy removal business has not gone as usual for him, general rise in prices of commodities and cost of fuel has led to low patronage for him.

You cannot be spending more, while earning the same or less, and still be defending whatever policy Tinubu is rolling.

Na to check in for Psychiatric home be the next option

Obi said this and everyone was quiet!

What a sexist statement, according to both male and female feminists!

Magnoliàa needs to comment on that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fIPH9j0sbk

Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I went to look for the video myself. If someone call you people agbayas now, una go dey drop mucus like some of your age mates were doing under Ayra Starr's cs on Twitter.

If you will not act y'all ages, I will force you into it whenever I can.

I have said this, and that seemingly sexist quote from that disingenuous entity, and APC propaganda machineries will not change my stance for me to not repeat it here: Peter Obi is a man who makes himself easily defendable. Anywhere!

Someone who doesn't have an history of being misogynistic against women or using slurs on people, someone who picks his words carefully, and defended self-determination causes without legitimizing the violence acts of some IPOB people is who you think can come out to make a careless statement like that? This is the angle y'all wanna take now in "catching" Obi? It will fail, as all other ploys and plots in the past agsinst him has. grin

Lemme reserve the colorful words I have for you and address the comment-

You can get a hearing aid if you need one, and listen closely to the video clip at the 2:46 mark.

The real problem facing adoption of gas may be a variant of the original subsidy problem - Tinubu is courting Germany to sell gas to them.

If we sell gas to Germany will there be enough left for domestic use at our current storage and extraction capacity? Also if price of gas rises on the international market what is the implication for the Nigerian consumer?

the monies allocated to the unconstitutional office of the First Lady should be transferred to educating and caring for the Girl-Child.

Let's not act like the same man didn't say this - I'll attribute it to sight problems caused by old age.

And these were his words verbatim - 'the first lady is there to look after the husband, and work with him and everything to ensure that everything works well'.

How did this turn to "a woman's job is to care for her husband?"

Like he was saying this in the context of a couple's political goals and dreams and all they ought to achieve together.

They are obviously in a marriage, so why should they not care for each other and look out for another? Why shouldn't a woman look after and care for her partner, her husband? Is he a stranger?

Why will they not present a united front - especially if they aligned in interests?

If you think this is the same thing as caring for a man because he's a man and it is a divinely set duty of a woman, you should preorder a copy of children's grammar or English language books here, since your moniker obviously points to counterfeiting at this point.

Obi never said it is a woman's duty to care for a man; he didn't call it a job, and he certainly did not say it in a subversive, superior way to mean a woman must always pick up after a man (and never vice versa) like you people always do.

This is sadly funny.

They want Universities that have always complained of inadequate funding to start remitting 40% of whatever they make to the government.

Omo! I can only imagine how lecturers will milk this one to their advantage. VC and school senate will tell the staff they don't have enough funds to run the school, lecturers will go on a taxing spree with the students at their mercy.

Students will practically be buying rims of paper for lecturers to print research papers, they will require them(students) to repair their printers when they are faulty, some lecturers could even go as far as requesting for their computer systems to be replaced by students when they go bad. Most students will fall in line except they don't have intentions of graduating with their mates grin

I was thinking the FG would even increase government's funding of varsities before pulling this stunt. The way school fees will jack-up this coming new year ehn....Some indigent students may have no choice but to drop out.

A yoruba man was minister for works for 8years yet the only FG road you can drive for about 2km without terrible potholes in the whole of south west is only Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Nigeria never get both the gas and the means to provide for 3% of its energy needs, but FG wan sell gas to Germany.

Sometimes, i wonder if you have to be stupid to rule this country.

There is a serious energy crises in Nigeria, but we are lobbying Germany to come and buy Gas.

Germany go buy am, then we will go and import the same gas or another alternative form of energy from Germany

as an aside it is worse than that as EVs weigh up to 30% more than equivalent cars - which will lead to even more wear and tear on roads if there is significant adoption

I drive electric. Significant adoption is also significantly linked to charging networks, and I can tell you for free that until very recently the charging infrastructure in the UN outside of Tesla's was an absolute wasteland.

To really get electric cars going, you need hi-speec chargers that can deliver a fast charge within 20-30 minutes. The most common chargers available tend to be 50kw chargers which would probably take about an hour to charge a car from 0-50%.

Last year, Tesla cut a deal with the government to open something line 19 or 20 of its superchargers to non-resla owners. I myself have used the facilities at Lakeside in Essex and Trafford Centre in Manchester, and the charging difference js like night and day.

The only other supercharger networks that I am aware of in the whole UK is the Ionity network based around the M1, in Cambridge and Peterborough and I think in Scotland.

The rest of the charging infrastructure is shared between instavolt who have a few 170kw chargers but mostly 50kw, and Gridserve who are the largest charging network provider on the highways who mostly also do 50kw, but have started rolling out a couple of 120kw charging stations.

BP pulse tend to dominate shopping malls with 7-11kw chargers that van take up to 10 hours to charge your car.

This is not then to talk about the cost of a charge. Typically you will expect to pay 69p per KwH. I drive a jaguar ipace for example, and that's a 90kwh battery capacity. Charging from 10% to maybe 60% is around £40 and 30+ minutes sitting around in a service station, sometimes in the middle of nowhere.

You couldn't even start this conversation in Nigeria. Electic cars are a flex in the country, and may likely never be a practical option there in our lifetimes.
