ZivaChicabelle:others who are current will answer your question. I don’t know if a new account can get reference letter from the bank these days. When i did mine the account had to be 6 months more to get reference letter. Why not tell the buyer to divide and send to your personal accounts |

ZivaChicabelle:Joint account can work. Attach a letter of explanation to explain the lump sum amount and the receipt from the property sales. You're good this way |

ednut1: Lol. Sorry please. I meant biometrics for me not medicals. That was a mistake, I did mine before I left. It's my family that still has to do theirs. |

ednut1: Not that kind of help 😕. When filling the work experience section. There's a part that asks about my NOC (banking) and when I qualified to practice in this NOC. In this case, I graduated with a degree in French and has worked in the bank ever since. In this situation, how do we respond? |

Good evening good people, please if I get to this point in my application, does it mean that I am done? If I sign and transmit, will there be forms to fill? I am asking because I keep seeing stuff said about IMM forms in previous pages and I didn't see any of that in my required document checklist. Please am I doing something wrong or is that how it's supposed to be? Please help!

dabyem: Prior to you receiving your RFV email, did you receive an ADR asking you to submit a new passport? You shouldn’t have waited till the 29th day I’d say you submit your passport immediately to VFS Kenya and you should have it stamped and returned to you in 2 weeks time. Also include a letter of explanation and also send a web form explaining the reason for the delay and why you are submitting a passport that has 4 months validity. You can also include that you plan to land Canada before the 4 months expiry date in your passport. |

ZivaChicabelle: You’re not done yet. Here, your files have been uploaded but not yet submitted to IRCC. You can still substitute the files by uploading new ones at this point. To submit your application, you MUST sign and transmit, and then it takes you to a page where you pay the Processing fee and right of permanent residence fees. Your application is considered submitted when you receive an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR). 3 Likes |

ZivaChicabelle: You can use a joint account. However, you need to provide documents (land title documents, receipts, etc) from when the land was purchased and how you paid for it. If the land was a gift, you need to include it too. You also need a solid letter of explanation explaining the bulk deposit into the joint account, and the entire transaction. |

phabulous88: Thank you so much for your kind explanation. You have clarified the process well for me. I was wondering if I would meet more forms after signing. Thanks so much, I am grateful. |

phabulous88: Thanks a whole lot for this. Yes we have the title documents bearing both our names. We didn't buy the land though, it was a wedding gift from family when we wedded. The deed of gift is available as well and its notarized though not registered. 1 Like |

Hi everyone. I hope you are all great. I currently work full- time remotely from Nigeria for an international NGO. The role allows me to work from anywhere in the world. It is actually a full-time employment and not freelancing/independent consulting. They are willing to provide support for my relocation, however it is a bit tricky. The only way I can think of that they can help is to assist in getting LMIA which I can use for my PR (I'm already in the pool). However, I have been getting conflicting responses regarding whether or not a 100% remote role would qualify for LMIA. Some licensed immigration consultants have said it would and others have said it won't. Has anyone had an experience with a similar situation before? To provide better context, they hire in any country through what's called an employer of record. So if I were to move to Canada, my contract would be moved to a Canadian employer. So on paper, I currently work for a Nigerian company (they manage my pension, tax, etc), however, I actually work for the NGO. The same would be the case for Canada i.e. my employer would be a Canadian company. Thanks. |

jpj:the conditions to get points for studying in Canada is stated in the CRS calculator . Check it out under question 4b. You don’t meet it till you graduate so zero points. |

Though I've been following this page for a long time, I didn't bother to join or signup but I feel it has really helped me and I should share my experience, as I believe it would help a lot of people as well. Though I just wrote the IELTS and my result isn't out yet, I am highly positive as I discovered a way that would be very helpful for others. I wrote the IELTS first in November 2022 (Almost a year ago) and I didn't really have the scores I needed for my express entry application as I needed at least a band 8.0, according to my calculations. I scored L:6.5 R:6.5 W:7.0 and S: 7.5. I was quite discouraged at the time and just decided to jettison the whole process and continue with life in Nigeria. However a friend of mine who aced the test told me about a place where she got free lectures and all and that aided her personal study. Mentioned the name as Mafit. I looked them up on instagram and didn't really give it a thought per say. So, last month I decided to give the IELTS a crack again, went on British Council to register and lo and Behold the same Mafit is now the official speaking test center for the British Council on the mainland in Lagos. Went on their site and their IELTS registration fee is not only cheaper than British Council and IDP (I do not know how they manage to do that) but they also give magoosh IELTS premium access for free and organize free physical lectures for 4 good weeks. As at the time I registered, they had another promo going on where they organized live zoom classes for 5 days a week. I swear I didn't pay a dime for all these. Their instructor, Mr. Emmanuel is dope! It helped me psychologically during my speaking test, as the same hall I did my speaking was where I wrote my mock exam and is also my personal study room that I visit almost everyday after free classes. Honestly, I don't know how they do it but those guys deserve my trophies. The speaking questions were exactly what was shared during lectures. I don't know if they see these questions before exams but of course, I don't care anyway. What matters is that I saw what I expected. I'm sure lots of people know these guys and are not saying it. Cos Nigerians will have a pathway and not blow it so that others won't benefit from from it. They are somewhere on Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja. You can google mafit study center. Not sure of their website but their instagram is bymafit. I am sharing this without bias because we live in a society that castigates institutions a lot. When we see one that breaks barriers to help people genuinely, we should also mention and give them accolades. I'll be back to post my results once its out. |

Guys, I need advice. I noticed an error on the date of birth of my WES accredited result, I contacted my school to resend the result but it might take a while. Can i just use it for my express entry profile in addition to an affidavit from court. Ednut1 |
